Are you listening to yourself? The thanksgiving turkey is now the battlecry for the Dems in '04. Good luck with that platform.

Didn't the Clintons support Clark? What would they think of Gore's approval of Dean? Why doesn't Gore support Lieberman, they ran together after all?Seems kind of fishy, it will be interesting to see what happens I guess... __________________ Greven53. I'm Everywhere You Wanna Be. Gore supports Dean solely to set up another run in '08. Gore is trying to gain Dean's grass roots supporters. Gore is gearing up for the inevitable showdown with Hillary.

First off, how did he lie? Second, I saw the picture and I don't see him carring it, I see him in the picture with the turky in the foreground.

*insert lame irrelevant quasi-insult* That's awesome, but you wouldn't hear me complaining if he actually brought a fricking turkey that was steamy hot, and then it doesn't even matter if it's not enough to feed all the soldiers. It doesn't even matter that this is considered propaganda as well-- at least he's not playing the arrogant egocentrist. So either bring a turkey that's edible, or don't at all. wagamer: he's actually carrying it. I still have the pic I think. It's a lie because it was not at the point of publication made clear that he's holding a fricking plastic duck. __________________ rationalist · metalhead · perfectionist · godless · happy«I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.» -J.R.R. Can we give the turkey thing a rest? How absurd that this is even an issue. One time I saw Jimmy Carter on NBC giving an interview from New York City....but....GET THIS...he was sitting in front of a BACKDROP, not the real cityscape! It just proves what a liar he always was.

You mean about as absurd as the idea of busting a man whose powers are as fearsome as a homeless man's baseball bat? __________________ rationalist · metalhead · perfectionist · godless · happy«I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.» -J.R.R. Propaganda is some good. I put four in all my decks.Yeah, the turkey issue is a turkey, d00ds. Let's go on again about how the war isn't justified and Saddam should have a T.V. show and that Bush is a puppet. You know, all of those factual arguments. (Seriously did not intend this post to make any sense, so please don't take it that way. Thanks.) __________________ [Kluckers of MOTL: Information] ◊ [Email: kluckersmotl@yahoo.com] ◊ [AIM: LJKluckers]

Interesting you should bring this up Greven, I saw something last night on the news that said that Clark is still ATTEMPTING to get the Clinton endorsement, but hasn't secured it. I'd be interested to see who gets the Clinton nod, as well as if it can shake things up even more so than the Gore endorsement did. __________________ If I've ever learned anything from D&D it is this... siudes, i would rather have my prezzie getting a little sucky-sucky than starting a war on false pretenses and trying to strike the *aww, he's a good guy* chord that he is trying to generate from that picture+

well, I was just using a direct compare rather than taking all of it.I wasnt really paying much attention then. Wasnt it lying about having sex with Monica? okay, just this It all doesnt matter. Who ever you have in goverment is going to be corrupt in some way. i's how it's all evoled. used to be, we would get our leaders from people who succed in the private sector. now all we have is people where that is all they do. Nothing in between. Vote Democrat, vote republican, whatever doesnt matter, it's all the same. To fix and improve the problems in this country would require massive changes. This whole pyramid of corruption and stupidity is too ingrown throughout the entire country. Now we are exporting all this **** to other countries. but whatever we've been on a steady slide downhill since FDR. all he goverment cares about(as thats all you har about) is how strong or weak the econmoy is. Money is all that matters to them., not improvment, improving would be a threat to their strangle hold of power.

Magicalgenie predates deathling and mathematically speaking is deathling^2. He is perhaps the only member of MOTL that I actively dislike and I assure you that attempting reasoned discourse with him is a waste of time. He would happily contradict himself in order to bolster whatever neoconservative propaganda he happens to be spewing at the time. It is with some fondness that I recall the time he assured us all that once in Iraq we would find stashes of chemical warheads with "Made In France" stamped on the side. As I noted at the time, the USA lost serious goodwill and support because of the way this administration chose to conduct itself diplomatically, and that being the case, we had darned well better find those WMD's or suffer a serious impediment to future negotiations of this nature. I'm still holding out hope that some evidence of WMD's will be found, but I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime if you want some meaningful and thoughtful analysis of a situation, I suggest you turn your attention to Charles Ensign, flaminio, roberto8k, and so forth. __________________ -- PlasteredDragon A.K.A. LOL! I spit on your false love, you neoconservative propagandist you! On a serious note, if you ever want to win my respect back, you'll need to start approaching these discussions in an even-handed, thoughtful, manner rather than a win-at-all-costs-whether-I'm-right-or-not manner. Until I see some evidence of that I will continue to place anything you say in the same circular file I pitch other propaganda into. Discussions such as these are far more valuable as a mechanism for myself and others to learn and to broaden our worldview. Regurgitated propaganda is both boring and readily available elsewhere. Thanks anyway. Oh and BTW, on a simpler humanistic level, I heart you too. Kiss kiss. __________________ -- PlasteredDragon A.K.A. Come on, we all know I am a nazi-goose stepping follow George Bush into the fiery pits of hell kind of guy and you are a flag-burning sandal wearing I heart Commie Dean kind of guy so are these postings really gonna to change either of our opinions? Methinks not. So in the meantime, lets make up, put on our PJ's, have a slumber party, drink hot chocolate and have a tickle fight to bury our differences.

Dear Magicalgenie1:No one can disagree with you without you assuming that their opinion is the polar opposite thereof. Are you really that dumb, or are you just using the same debate tactics that all your Rush-Rightist brethren use? Which are, for example: 1.) Bomb the bejeesus out of it. 2.) Leave everything alone, sing songs about peace, and allow terrorists to bomb us without retaliation. Some of us are capable of thinking of solutions between two extremes. Apparently, you are not. - Zoelef PS: Pre-emptive apology to Charles Ensign, I was citing more of the simplistic '<candidate> = McGovern' retort we hear every four years.
