So i havent drafted much, but isnt the "tap to shock" equipment pretty much "I win"?

depends on the circumstance. I beat my opponent because after tapping to do 2 infect to me, i killed his only other creature on the board he could attach that equip to so his infect would untap.

its pretty clunky, you're better off just ramming in something else, but that being said its really broken with lots of infect and solition.

I have been drafting some pretty sick red decks in this format.

One was a real aggressive r/w deck with hawks and skyguards and there was a r/g/w deck with lots of horizon spellbombs to fix mana


Dont think I have a lost a 3v3 or a 8man yet

So, I don't mean to brag, but I just opened up a Foil Elspeth Tirel, AND a Koth of the Hammer in the same pack.....
Most rediculous pack that I have ever seen.
Again, I'm not posting this to brag, I was just blown away.

That's pretty redic. I guess the best pack I've seen was one of the guys who was just starting out, he cracked Big Jace, foil Big Jace in one pack. Crazy.

fat hit!!! I love seeing packs like that! The last awesome pack that I opened was in Ravnica, foil overgrown tomb, with an overgrown tomb.

The best pack that I got like that was Silence and FOIL Silence when M10 just came out. I of course traded them away ASAP

we had some M10 display with mythic instead of rare and rare instead of uncommon - that was epic

I had a Foil Venser and a regular Elspeth in one pack. That box was first 24 packs of crap, then that pack and later more goodies. Koth, Masticore, Skittles, foil seachrome. I must admit that I was sweating a bit when I didn't have any mythics after 24 packs.

To be honest, I don't think any of those packs can compare to the numerous Ravnica block packs that would contain all foil rares. I saw one once, it's pretty damn impressive when you open a pack and see 5-6 $50 bills staring back at you. From what I understand they had quite a few of these mistake packs go into circulation.

EDIT: and let's not forget Zendikar, if you weer lucky enough to open power like some people.

Heh, the guy with dubs Jace comes pretty damn close though.

How many artifact destruction is too many? I drafted RW last night and have 3 shatter, an 3/3 for 3R that ETB kills an artifact and the sorcery disenchant. is that too many?

hat I have found is, the more the marrier. 6 destruction spells are my limit (this includes cards like Grasp, Arc Trail, Galvanic Blast, etc.)

Yeah, I get what you are saying, but from my experience that is the highest amount that I've been given in sealed or passed in draft. I understand you would want more, but I like to play a decent amount of creatures and a few equipments in this format. After all is said in done, in sealed, around 6 is what I end up playing. I understand you can deal more with their threats if you have more than 6 but I feel after a while you lose your own power from creatures, etc. You can't necessarily keep the pressure on as much.

Then again, I usually build draft/sealed decks that are fairly aggro, and if they don't win in 10 min in a game, they lose in 15, as I ABSOLUTELY HATE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

I see what you are saying, but with only playing 40 cards and what I have seen via picks/pools, 6 is a good number. If you happen to get more, than fantastic.
