In this thread, you'll be able to track down all those elusive cards that people don't have on their H/W lists.

The Rules

Reminder: These are NOT trades, and activity on this thread is in no way allowed to be used for references.

Those who wish to join the Exchange are asked to post in the thread acknowledging that they wish to join. They will NOT be permitted to post a want list until they have sent out cards and had the other person acknowledge receipt. The first package successfully sent will also earn the sender 20 bonus points to get them started.

1. Do NOT post here unless your post is one of the following:

• A list of the cards you want. Be as specific as possible. At the very least, your post must include:
  1. How many of each card you want
  2. What set you want the card to be from (if relevant)
  3. The rarity of the card
• A notice of confirmation that someone is sending you cards
  If your list does not include all of the above, it will be ignored and no updates will be made.
• A notice of the receipt of said cards
  

2. This exchange will work on a point system, specified as follows:

• Everyone starts with 0 points
• Rares are worth 15 points, uncommons 5 points, and commons 1 point. FOILS are worth twice their non-foil counterparts
• You receive points when you send cards and get deducted points when you receive cards
• If you have 20 or fewer points, you may list up to 40 points worth of cards
• If you have more than 20 points, you may list up to 3 times your point total's worth of cards
• For example, if you have 15 points, you could list up to 40 commons. If you send 15 uncommons (75 points), you will be able to list up to 225 commons
• If your point total reaches 0, your posting privileges will be revoked until you send some cards out and get your points back to a positive balance.
• You may not accept cards from others that would put you at less than 0 points. This means you need to pay attention to your point total (based on the points you have earned already, not just what you've sent out) and be careful when having multiple people offer you cards so you don't accidentally accept too many. Repeated violations of this rule may result in your posting privileges being suspended.

2a. Once the first package that you send out has been received and confirmed by the other party, you will get a 20-point bonus added to your total.

3. This thread is generally for low-end cards. If you list cards that other people might value highly, don't expect other people to send them to you for free as part of this exchange. Therefore, only list cards that you think other member might reasonably send you for free. Listing higher-end cards will just eat up your listing-point quota.

4. The sending system work as follows:

• Browse through the list of cards people want and look for things you have
• If you have something someone wants, email or PM them saying you have them
• If they still want the cards, have them send you their address for confirmation
• Once you have their address, send them their cards
• If you are the person receiving cards, immediately post here after giving your address for confirmation saying what cards you are getting from who. Then post an updated list of your wants, removing the cards you are getting from said person - please do not just post changes, post a complete new list. Once you receive the cards, post again saying that you have received. Include the total point values. This is of the utmost importance so we can keep track of who still needs what. Also, points will be adjusted after confirmation of reception.

5. If you have sent cards out and the person has not posted about them being received and an appropriate time has passed (2 weeks domestic, 1 month international) please contact them to make sure that they didn't just forget to post. If you do not hear back from them after a few days, please let me know. I will make an attempt to contact them and if they still don't respond, then I will consider the cards to have arrived and will adjust points as appropriate. If they are responsive and the cards haven't arrived, nothing will happen. This will ensure that people who for whatever reason aren't around anymore or are unavailable for an extended time aren't holding others up from getting points.

There was a lot of posting at the very end of part 5 whining about inactive members. So I'm trying out a new strategy to deal with it. Everyone now has a status next to their name of either P4, P5, or P6. This indicates the last thread (Part 4, Part 5, Part 6) that member posted on. When starting a new thread, anyone who has gone two consecutive threads without posting gets moved to the Likely Inactive list. Anyone who goes three consecutive threads without posting will get dropped as No Longer Active. Parts 4 and 5 lasted about 4 months each, so marginally active members should only need to post about once a year to keep their membership current.

And, of course, lists updated.
