Hasn't it already gone up? I remember seeing SCG raised their buy price to like $6. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Yeah they moved. Star is back down from $6 though, and TCG Low is about $6.The card spiked without any actual proof that it would be a thing. We already knew there'd be Eldrazi titans. People are buying Jwari Shapeshifters because there's allies though, so speculators gonna spec I guess.

I have doubts about it being a "thing."I mean, Summoning Trap existed in a meta with the original Eldrazi. I know people tried to make that work, but I can't recall a deck that ever successfully made it work. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. To be fair, Summoning Trap was used a lot as 2-3 extra copies of Primeval Titan in Valakut decks, and it showed up in Elfdrazi ramp decks (tier 2). The difference is that a primeval titan hitting the battlefield generally won the game with valakut in the deck, and the ramp in that format was WAY better. All we'll have left post rotation is Rattleclaw, Leaf Gilder, Whisperer of the Wilds, and Honored Hierarch, and they all die to just about anything (unlike Explore, Rampant Growth, Khalni Heart Expedition, and Overgrown Battlements), making it much easier to prepare for. Even a bad mono-red deck would probably run over a see the unwritten eldrazi deck.

I was told by a friend that the "treasures" will not be in packs sold in fat packs. Is there any truth to this? Also,if I preorder a box is there any guarantee that it's from the first printing?

Another question for anyone "in the know"... Will there be 5 of each full art basic? Right now the spoilers show 4 plains, 3 swamps, 3 islands, 5 forests & 5 mountains.

Probably not true. The treasures are probably also going to be in every printing since they didn't say otherwise.

I'm wondering why she's coming to Zendikar. Was she just looking for a plane in worse shape than Theros to hop to? Why doesn't anyone ever go anywhere calm and relaxing after giant crazy battles?

You must not have read her story cause the reason she was in Theros was to find powerful sea creatures to bring back to zendikar to fight the eldrazi

I dunno. He kinda has a point about finding a nice beach and sipping something nice. I mean... let's say you could 'walk through the multiverse. Do you want to see what's behind door A, which is labeled "Universe-wide war" or door B, which is labeled, "Cool drinks, nice waters and warm sands"? EDIT: Oh yea. WOOHOO! WE HAVE ENEMY-COLORED MAN LANDS! __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. I didn't read any of the story. I only skimmed the whole Thassa/Kiora battle, which probably contains that information too. I just assumed she was born on Theros. I wish I had time to read all of the content they churn out, especially given that the next few blocks are going to be part of one big story.

The whole point is that she needs to defeat the Eldrazi in order to save Zendikar and ultimately the entire multiverse. If you think she doesn't have to do that, then the same logic applies to all other planeswalker in the storyline.

Does anyone else feel like the new "full arts" aren't really full art?

I really like them compared to the rav/rtr versions. they're like the Michael Bay reboot

I agree. They could have done more to make of it show through the text box or shrunken the box with a smaller font. I think going textless would have been a horrible decision though, and I'm glad they learned their lesson from those horrible textless cards that already exist.

They aren't even comparable to rav versions. Name of the card at least shows in the artwork. Now? Wtf are they smoking? That looks like steam vents? A temple garden?????? __________________ 30th in refs on Motl! #1 Ref's for Arizona! I offer 3rd party trading services. Email if interested. Your 2008, 2010 & 2012 Siskel & Ebert award winner! Steam Vents literally is showing steam venting from the Earth. Edit: I hadn't seen Temple Garden until after this post. I will concede that i have no idea what that one is supposed to be. But Godless Shrine, Sacred Foundry, and Steam Vents all look legit.

Brutal Expulsion 2UR Instant Devoid (This card has no color.) Choose one or both — • Return target spell or creature to its owner's hand. • Brutal Expulsion deals 2 damage to target creature or planeswalker. If that permanent would be put into a graveyard this turn, exile it instead.
