So the only thing in Magic I'm looking for these days are Grim Lavamancer artist proofs.I know some people who have them but currently want to keep them. I lost out on a judge promo one for $50 recently b/c someone else saw the post first. On worth point I can find where ones sold in the past: June 4th, 2012 4 torment proofs https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/mtg-deals-1x-grim-lavamancer-torment-9991939 I've got 3 torment proofs and would love a 4th. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/mtg-artist-proof-torment-grim-20516266 August 12th, 2013 someone picked up this judge proof https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/mtg-grim-lavamancer-artist-proof-468803603 May 31, 2014 someone picked up this judge proof https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/magic-gathering-grim-lava-artist-521639212 Anyone know who has picked up anyway? I've been trying to get ahold of Mike Sutfin but he doesn't ever respond

My next project may be to build a Legends set. Been picking up some high end stuff from the set as of recently so it might make sense to build the rest of the set.

I have not collected any recently but I was up just over 200 when I stopped. I have a Nether Void on the way from mostly credit trade with Card Kingdom. Tabernacle is the biggest card I am missing from Legends but I have Moat, Chains, The Abyss, Invoke Prejudice, Eureka, and soon Nether Void.

Thanks! Was a lot of time and money but I'm proud of it. Was considering listing it on the high end group on april fools as a joke. Maybe put $99,000 on it. But I'm afraid some bitcoin millionaire magic player might buy it

So, I'm kind of finishing a project and starting one in the fall.Back 14-15 years ago I earned my first 2 bachelor's degrees (CIS and BA). I then went and worked for 13+ years and had a successful career in IT, first as a program, then various coordinator and lead roles. But I quit my job and went back to school to take more math and economics classes. This week I'll finish my 3rd bachelors (econ) and this fall I'll start a master's in economics in a top 10 ranked program. 2 years later I'll either reenter the workforce or begin a PhD program; I haven't decided yet. But 2 years from now I expect my resume to be updated to: 3 Bachelor's degrees (Economics, Computer Information Systems, & Business Administration) 1 Master's (Economics) Chartered Financial Consultant Certification ITIL certifications in: v3 Foundations Operational Support & Analysis Release Control and Validation Service offerings and agreements As well as having received training in Planning, Protection, and Optimization yet not being tested As well as further personal development for 7 Habits of Highly Effective people and Dale Carnegie training Plus some other stuff.

Well, that's a bullet point list an a half on a resume. Economics is a good field of study to be in these days (or so I've assumed.)
Good for you Mr. Stone Rain.

Also, I am also still struggling (lazily) to sell my collection. And with the pandemic...haven't gotten farther than getting rid of my D&D books...My current MTG project will be...eternity, I guess....

I guess I'll throw my two cents in on this. I work for my state public health testing Covid-19 samples 6-10 hr days, 6 days a week doing DNA extractions. I've been doing Sunday Corona Paint days with my 5 year old son. I've started to alter my mtg cards with classical paintings starting with "Starry Night" and "Vampire". Next one will be "Saturn Devouring His Son" on an Ice Age Brainstorm. Didn't realize how hard it is to alter within the art box on each magic card. Anyways planning on making my Vintage Oath deck a 60 card/15 side, 75 total art collection of classical pieces. By coronas end my deck box will be a mini Louvre.

I'm under the impression (conspiracy theory) that there is literally a single copy of Xth Foil Russian Spark Elemental in existence. Considering the small print run for Russian Xth, and that after nearly a decade of searching. T&T has a listing for it https://www.trollandtoad.com/magic-the-gathering/tenth-edition-russian-singles/russian-spark-elemental-237-383-foil/1399343 , but when I contacted them asking IF they ever had stock they said they'd never had a single copy in their system.
I've got ebay watch lists going for it, get a ping every couple of days but for English, or some other common language, or wrong edition (and usually not foil or russian....)

I just want to mention my other current projects, some are not MTG related:Finding a girlfriend, then along came COVID-19.... Getting my MBA, then along came COVID-19.... Getting my Realtor's License, then along came COVID-19. Seeing my family, or my dog, or my friends....then along came COVID-19. Cleaning my house, then along came a spider and I spent six hours studying it while it webbed up a plastic cup. That was cool. Jeffry now lives in my garage, he's small barn spider of some sort, a relative of the larger 1"er I almost face-firsted into last summer behind my dad's shed. Going to CubeTutor and ....drafting vintage power cube wayyyyy to much for someone that doesn't play MTG anymore... Watching LSV VintageCube. (Force storm LSV! You know it is your destiny!) Learning how to cook, I made lasagna. The recipe called for half of what was actually needed, at minimum. It was decent.
Day-dreaming, about epic space battles and such. LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR!
