Omega Member	posted March 01, 2009 10:10 PM Played a game (two actually, but last one isnt complete) of Axis and Allies (board game) with 4 friends. I was British Empire and the Allies won because of a powerful joint strike on Italy (A sort of D day) with 6 transports full (7 infantry, 5 tanks), 2 Battleship providing artillery strike), 9 fighters and 2 bombers Germans had 7 tanks, and 8 infantries to defend. We won the dies and won the game Started another game with the Japanese. The "evils" are not doing too bad, but economically, the allies are winning against us. What to do? Attack at all cost, or wait? That is the question! My german ally is actually in a sort of cold war against the Russians at Caucasse - Ukraine (German is stronger economically, but the Russian can build troops directly at Caucasse and can bring more from Moscow. British has just lost his entire fleet (i lost a part of mine in a great battle near India). USA isnt on Europe ground yet. They have a lot of infantry in China (which is blocking my path to Russia) and Britain has a factory in India that is capable of building three infantries each turn just to hold me from attacking Russia! I think the only way we can win this is by attacking Russia on East (not defended). That means i will have to defeat both China/India or at least one of the two armies (neither have tanks/aircraft, so they cant really coutnerattack). Put some pressure on the East, and the German will be able to overrun Russia If we do it quick, British won't be able to help for a while (he lost all his ships after all) and USA is still far from being a threat. He does have some transports, but the best he can do is drop them in Africa (he cant, not yet at least, drop them on Europe ; he will need more transports to do that). what a great game that is Robert
