I had wolf nightmares from dead citizens! Wicked whispers of "wolf."

Yeah that last post was a huge mistake and I regretted it the minute I pressed submit. I got a little nervous being so close to victory that I lost my logical senses. As for the giant story about me being AWOL because of real life ... complete fabrication (sorry, MasterWolf). I was actually present and following the entire game very closely, but I didn't post anything because I was totally off the radar until TOL/O_B outed me and I figured if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I will also say also, Liq's plan was a good idea imo. I still liked it, and if I would have been a cit, I still would have liked it. He was tryin to get info, 3 seers.

Bernek, I underestimated you. You had me dead on this last round.

Also, hey MeddlingMage, even if the final 2 votes not sent in was for me, the game was over. 5 votes for OB was enough even without the non votes sent in. And could we have a point standings update? That .-25 for ole rev is depressing.

I did too vote! I sent you a PM right after my last post!

Edit: Alamaster, sorry, but I just lost a lot of respect for you. If you're gonna lie, make up one about your leg or you being out of town or something. When you bring in the less-fortunate and use their suffering to elicit sympathy in order to do better at a meaningless online game: scum.

Also: OB, I would have tried to swing everyone against revenger but you just straight up did not post very often at all until the very end.

So, NOW can you see how not declaring is harmful to the cits and the wolves could give a care?

Thanks,

Jaz- same, same, and YES.
Oh, BTW- I was *trying* to get killed R3N. I only saw suspicion building on me from wolves, and I hoped that with my death either you or Bernek would sufficiently pick up the mantle on lynching revenger.
In retrospect, that failed pretty horribly.
Also- I didn't want to say this during the game because it would sound wolf-contrived, but fwy I really am sorry. I thought for sure you were a wolf.

Lol. OB, you did a helluva job defending yourself. It's a shame AGM's HUGE slipup didn't save you.

Heh. I also hoped you'd start mixing behaviour in with your pile analyses- one without the other, or vice versa, is not nearly as strong as a mix of both. Fwy in R2 showed me that.

Of course, I couldn't really tell you that in-game, it'd be too suspicious.

Gotta second this. I picked O_B as my target not just because of the reasons I posted, but because I thought he was going to go down quietly. It was quite a shock when he did not, and I honestly had trouble maintaining my attack, and the worry that came from it is what caused me to make those mistakes at the end.

For those of you who think my credibility is now crap because of my story, I think this is actually an important point to be discussed. How deep or believable does a story have to be in order to excuse an absence? Are absences ever excusable? Obviously a huge part of this game is about lying, but I don't know where to draw the line. Please remember, though, that this is just a game and no actual harm was done to anyone.

We lost a wolf, Battle, midgame. Yet when the game was coming to the end, he reappears on politics thread. He stated he had personal problems. Which is fine with me, but why couldn't he let us fellow wolves to know as well? I feel battle asking for a replacement was a stab at me or alm or both. Maybe I am reading to much into it, but this is how I see it.

Piles Piles Piles...

All the wolves are alone in R1 piles. Also, check out the three bonus piles at the end, some interesting stuff there.

Liq's original list of 7 did indeed include 1 wolf, but only one. BTW props to Liq for making the best play he could in a bad situation.

Little hint about lying for excuses- always pin something borderline cliché. Something like "doctor's appointment", for example, but embellish it just enough that it sounds believable. You overdid it. Also, the small fact of your votig was contradictory evidence to your claim- but I'll go into more about that tomorrow. My iPod is terrible for typing so my posts are currently stuck being short.
And yeah, manipulating stuff like that, no matter the reason, is kind of douchey.

Actually, Woolly's "fell and pinched a nerve" story was a good example of a good white lie.

Ask Almaster the same question...

I believe it to be common courtesy to not lie about events outside the game. I have told the truth 100% of the time and while I understand I cannot expect the same from everyone, I find it low and unsportsmanlike to lie.

EXACTLY!

Woolly I thought was a cit, actually. She didn't play the same way battle did, and struck me quite convincingly as a slightly bewildered cit. Good job, Woolly!

MM: who got MVPs, and when are signups for ww9?

sorry I didn't read the whole after game posts. I didn't realize he was lying. Alm that did go to far I felt really bad for your cause.

Also Alm, Rev you 2 need to be more open to other idea's. I feel like everytime I said something one of you shot it down, or just ignored it. I know I was just a replacement but seriously be more open minded about things.

Thanks though for letting me play.
