Overview :

The citizens of a small city, Tillamook, have discovered that there is Mafia in their town! The discovery has prompted the Mafia to start eliminating the population to a more manageable size. The citizens must get the Mafia before the Mafia gets them!

There are two main teams, the Mafia and the Citizens. Apart from these main teams are the Serial Killer and the Survivor. Each are out to win the game by themselves.

Team Mafia wins by eliminating enough players so that they make up 50% or more of the "living" players in the game. The citizens win by eliminating all members of Team Mafia and the Serial Killer. The Serial Killer wins by being one of the last two players in the game. The Survivor wins by being alive when one of the other teams win.

The Roles will be randomly determined by me. I will the PM roles to the players. If you don't get a PM, you're a citizen. Notice: Not all roles will be used (Assigned).

Mafia Members - Team Mafia (Always Assigned)
Mafia members all know each other and are allowed to discuss the current game between each other off thread.

Mafia Leader - Team Mafia (Always Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Mafia Leader chooses one player. That player is killed and removed from the game. The Mafia Leader cannot be night-killed by either the Vigilante or the Serial Killer.

Important!! If you are not on Team Mafia nor a Mason, the ONLY PM's that you are to send are to me. Mafia-to-Mafia or Mason-to-Mason are the only acceptable PM's between players. /Important!!

The Watcher - Team Mafia (Possibly Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Watcher chooses one player. If that player becomes the target of another Night Action, the Watcher will gain the identity of the person who picked the target as well.

The Ninja - Team Mafia (Possibly Assigned)
If the target of the Watcher or the Tracker, no information is given.

The Cop - Team Citizen (Possibly Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Cop chooses one player. The Cop is given information on which team that player is playing for.

The Doctor - Team Citizen (Possibly Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Doctor chooses one player. If that player would be killed, that player is saved and remains in the game. The Doctor may not choose any player that he had previously saved.

The Roleblocker - Assigned to either Team Mafia or Team Citizen (Possibly Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Roleblocker chooses one player. Should that player have a Night Action, that Night Action does not occur.

The Bomb - Team Citizen (Possibly Assigned)
If this player is choosen as a Night Action Kill, then the player who picked him dies as well.

The Tracker - Team Citizen (Possibly Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Tracker chooses one player. Should that player target another player, the Tracker will know.

The Vigilante - Team Citizen (Possibly Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Vigilante chooses one player. That player is killed and removed from the game. The Vigilante may only use this ability twice.

Masons - Team Citizen (Possibly Assigned)
Masons all know each other. Masons are able to communicate via PM to EACH OTHER ONLY.

The Serial Killer - Team Serial Killer (Possibly Assigned)
As a Night Action, the Serial Killer chooses one player. That player is killed and removed from the game.

The Survivor - Team Survivor (Possibly Assigned)
No Special Action involved.

The Citizen - Team Citizen (Always Assigned)
No Special Action involved.

Players who are still "alive" are not allowed to discuss this game with anyone, alive, dead or otherwise as to prevent accidents. Those that end up dead are allowed one "death post" which is not to contain ingame knowledge and are expected to remain silent until end of game. Anyone who is not playing (be that either due to not signing up or being dead) may not contact any player who is "alive" about anything concerning an active game.

The game is broken down into Rounds. Each Round will have 2 Phases, the Night Phase and the Day Phase. Players may discuss on this thread between themselves as what to do at any time during these phases by post alone. Each "living" player is required to post at least once per round. Only the Mafia and the Masons are allowed to PM each other.

During the Night Phase, Night Actions occur. This is done by them sending me (the GM) a MOTL PM. After all PMs are received, I will announce the results of each Night Action. If a player is saved by the Doctor, only the fact that it did happen will be shared. There is no set time for this phase but be quick about it.

During the Day Phase, each player must submit a vote for a player to be "lynched". This is done by them sending me (the GM) a MOTL PM. If multiple votes are submitted by a player, the most recent will be counted. If all votes are in before the specified time, I will end voting early. There is a set time for this phase which will be at least 48 hours. Tiebreakers will be determined by a randomization process.

Players who do post during a Round may find themselves subject to removal from game with replacement.

To sign up for this game, you must have your name on the GD UBB Player List. Once your name is on the list, simply leave a post indicating your willingness to participate in this game. Please do not post any further to this prior to the start of the game. Once sign ups end, I will announce the Start of Game in which the First Round begins. After this point and until End of Game, short of a Mod, no member of MOTL is allowed to post on this thread that is not playing.

Also note that those with their name on the GD UBB Player List may be asked to replace a "living" player.

I think it's OGB. I don't think he's any of our #1 picks, but I think he's on your list, my list, and possibly thror's list if we ask for his top 3 or top 4. It seems like the next choice we can all agree on.

But, like you, I can be persuaded. If you and thror think that hilikuS ranks higher on your lists, then I'd be willing to consider him, especially after reviewing his game play and if you have a persuasive argument for him. In between ray and Gawain, I may have missed something either of you said about hilikuS.

Wcfmo - i still think checking juni is a good idea tonight, because if he's played us we're in deep trouble. Juni can check either Hili, Monty, or LA3 and possibly find leader (would suggest them in that order). I suggest not checking OGB, because at this point I think he is pretty much confirmed Mafia, and will be the Next Lynch.

@ RAY and LA3 - We need you voting gawain this round.

I believe you guys are right whenever you say Gawain and OGB are both Mafia. After that, I think Hilikus is also mafia. Hilikus is playing the game exactly like I would expect a good mafia member to play it in the current situation. He is hesitant of the people who are “confirmed” and he is in between that place of not wanting to panic (like Gawain did) and not be too passive because he has to change somebodies mind.

In my opinion, the last mafia is a decision between LA3 and Ray. Now IMO it looks to me like LA3 is a citizen. His play seems so bad (no offense) but he is posting like he isn’t really paying attention or reading the thread very much. The only reason I say this is because of him calling me out for saying I have a role but not revealing my role the page after I actually did come out and tell you my role. He just doesn’t seem as prepared as a typical mafia would. Whenever I am mafia I generally read thru the threads a lot and know what is going on and what I can try to manipulate, where he doesn’t seem like he can do that.

I hope that all makes sense, as I am typing in a hurry before I have to pick up my kids.

Regarind top 4 - IDK, I'm listening to Thror on RAY and waiting, which is why I have him lower on the list as he knows him IRL. Hili is more of a choice if I said, who is more likely out of these players to be mafia and only gave you those four names, HILI would be after GAW for me. I really haven't spent a whole lot of time looking through his posts, and I would be pressed to vote him this round ...but I honestly haven't suspected him that much (which is exactly why I am going to scrutinize him more now).

Also, considering I think we have reached a consensus on voting.

You guys just wasted a round. Has anyone EVER seen me implode like that when I had a major role? Has anyone ever seen me implode like that period? And you think I'd do that if I were Mafia? The Mafia is leading you all around in circles with a level of ease I haven't seen in a long time, and it's because I made for such an easy vote that no one wanted to put any real effort into any real scumhunting, and also because with all these new roles, everyone is for whatever reason inclined to believe that a reveal is 100% genuine 100% of the time.

One of those who revealed is lying, possibly more.
