Yeah, I'll probably do that.

Played for an hour this morning and found a second legendary, this time a Dark Mage's Shade with 143 intelligence. It's actually usable! Still, also pre-buff.

You can solo inferno with any class even before the patch, as long as you have the right items.

Your GF was the one who gave you the account?

Haha, yeah she's a pro-gamer =p

After struggeling for a week on Act 2 Inferno with sub-par gear I decided to try the double Tornado build for Barb... wow, talk about easymode. I felt so dirty like I completely cheesed the game.

I am tempted to try that, but it doesn't look fun at all.

Yeah, it's not fun, it's pretty dull really.

Having been stuck on Act 2 for so long, I figured I'd give it a go as I was starting to get bored of slowly farming Act 1 with Sword and Board. I clear Act 1 about 5 times faster, there is no down time... so it's really good for farming. Once I get the gear (I have already found a couple very nice pieces since going double Tornado) I will go back to S&B or maybe 2H.

I really didn't want to try it either (I wanted to beat the whole game without ever looking at forums/guides/anything else), but didn't want to farm gold and gear on Act 1 for the next month. So while it's boring it's at least pushed me ahead of schedule and kept me from getting burned out.

So, yeah. Worth trying if you're already bored. It's faceroll to the max, took a few hours of play to really get it down so I never mess up and now it's like second nature Whirlwinding around the level with WotB up all the time.

EDIT: Just found some Wizard Boots, 170 Int, 80 RA, 59Vit, +13%GF. That's gotta be worth something right?

So far, I am doing fine in Act 2 Inferno with my Barb, so I will probably stick with whatever I have right now and avoid going double Tornado unless I absolutely have to.

edit:
Just beat act 2. Going to move on to act 3 tomorrow and see how it goes.

I thought it was pretty cool, especially the setting. Not challenging, mind you. You're supposed to be at something like level 24 to beat Alduin, though. If you're significantly higher, he isn't that difficult. Alduin is a leveled boss, but he only goes so high. I think I killed him in fifteen sword strikes-- not difficult at all, but I was over level 50 when I did it.

I'm playing through Dawnguard right now and I've seen some very interesting stuff. Don't want to spoil it, though.

yeah I was level 53 and had 100 in one-handed attack. So my dragonbane sword took like 8 hits to kill him.

Nice boots indeed, though missing movement speed. I would sell them asap as I expect a nerf is coming for melee wizards.

If anyone wants to chat in game, here is my battle tag: acky#1140

(Let me know who you are, else I would most likely deny request.)

I've met Lord Crovax & Jaz so far, and would love to meet a few more MOTLers.

meh, hopefully not. They've stated that they want chars to feel overpowered. Beyond that, there is no need for class balance in this game. If one is better then another, so be it. If you don't like it, then just reroll. People put a lot of time and effort into gearing their chars, sometimes even money, and blizz shouldn't just take it all away. If the do nerf builds then they'll just send away the players in droves. Bugs and exploits, sure fix them. Players using the skills given to them to do what they were designed to do? Yah... better leave that one alone.

I'm running a melee wiz right now. Its fairly fun. Biggest issue is gear. If I want any upgrades I need to drop 100mil and I just don't have that. I've got 35mil and the upgrades available to me are just mediocre and I can't even get a weapon. Just hoping for that sweet drop, but doubtful that will happen. I barely log in enough to have a chance at good drops.

Delete some crap, wait till the next generation consoles hit.

Seriously, unless you use your xbox like its a computer and pirate everything, the 20GB shouldnt get full. What did you do!?

I've been wanting to play that game again so damn badly... It's so freakin' expensive though!

Def the best game on the SNES besides maybe Zelda/Mario

I'm very partial to FF3/6 and Lufia 2 when it comes to the SNES, but that system just had too many games that were great for me to slap together a top 10. It'd be like a top 30, and 10-30 would be games that were pretty much all at the same level for me; awesome.

I'm in the middle of replaying Ocarina of Time and Fighting the boss in the water temple. My son reaches into the entertainment center and hits the reset button. There goes that hour. Silly boy...

If only there was some way to play the game without buying an original Chrono Trigger cart.

There's even more amazing SNES games if you include the ones that were never translated like the two dragon quests.

I know that I can just get an emulator and some ROMS, but It's just not the same

Seems like I heard somewhere that they put it out on another system though?

You can play Chrono Trigger on the DS (for not that much). You can play the J-only Dragon Quests via emulators only, afaik.
