I have. Those are ok, but I don't think I'd buy them regularly. The sriracha ones are better.__________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

odd, out of those the garlic one is the only one I would even give thought to buying. The other ones just sound bad. Chicken and waffles flavored chips? Pass...

Lay's doesn't have a regular spicy chip like most other brands do. I think cheesy garlic bread is just another bland, same ol' flavor kind of deal. It's not remarkably different from sour cream and cheddar to me. I might very well be in the minority on that one. Here's how I think they picked the flavors:One that would get everyone's attention and show they weren't just jerking us around (Chicken & Waffles) One they could live with making, but it's not all that different from what's already out there (Cheesy Garlic Bread) And one that's different from what the brand currently carries, and they'd like to get this one made ideally (Sriracha) __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! The Sriracha actaully tastes like Sriracha, to its credit. The chicken and waffles tastes more like the waffles then the chicken, but it IS salty, so... chickeny? The cheesy garlic is sitting on m desk, but I haven't tried it yet.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sriracha_sauceIt's delicious; if you like hot sauces, Sriracha will be a favorite of yours. I prefer it over straight hot sauce as it adds more flavor then just heat

I worked for the marketing company that did the initial stages of this project, so I was one of three people going through millions of submissions. Chicken and Waffles was a flavor that was going to be a finalist from the beginning. Sriracha, towards the middle of the submission process, got a lot of support. Cheesy Garlic Bread was the last one in, and felt like a shoe-horn/safe pick. I wanted to see (among the other finalists) Thai Basil Chile, but that was probably too close to Sriracha. I also wanted to see Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup, and something with bacon.

Thai Basil Chile sounds delicious. I think tomato soup might come across too much like their tomato and basil... just w/o the basil. You know how bacon is good w/ everything? Yah, that isn't true. A friend had some bacon soda. HE tried it... made the worst face, declared it horrible... so of course the rest of us tried it as well. I'd hold off on bacon chips, but I'm certain they would be immensely popular. also: http://grub.gunaxin.com/lays-flavors-potato-chips-china/68318

Why didn't they pick MY submission Mine was awesome. Tried the Garlic bread, it's ok. Tried the Chicken n Waffles, yeah, they taste mostly like waffles and syrup. I don't really get any chicken flavor in there. Should have been just chicken. I don't like hot sauce so no Sriracha for me! Thanks, Jazaray

The garlic ones all the way, the waffle ones sound disgusting and the spicy ones... well I just don't like spicy stuff! On a side note... I went over to my uncles house for Super Bowl and his neighbor said that he gave my uncle a chip and he said it was wayy too spicy (he hates spicy stuff)... The neighbor then told my uncle it was only a BBQ chip! I was like WTF! My uncle is quite a character! It made me laugh =)

following the math reference... your tangential subjects are awfully obtuse. Or esoteric. But that's not a math reference.

I promised myself I wouldn't make a crack about don's butthole and obtuse objects. And I failed. __________________ It is a known fact that more Americans watch the television than any other appliance.

Choked down coffee that tasted really off this morning. Spending the night with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Ugh.__________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. If you're successful with that then after that week is over I can imagine you walking around wondering why you're suddenly getting bigger. So my gf downloaded an app for her iphone that creates a calendar with a fancy design and plenty of icons to label various things on each day. I noticed most days last month had a little heart on them. I asked her what those referred to. She showed me the icon screen and they referred to 'intimacy.' Long story short...we screwed 18 days last month. Not bad, but I can do better. I'm shooting for at least 25 for march.
