all warrant 0NK no matter how long away from the game they can be. And we all know this. But Kyo has played 3 games and after his first one which he played well, he was nk'd 0+1. The baddies seen his as a problem and didn't want to keep him alive. certain players in this game get established. and you just don't play with the same people constantly and not have them notice certain players as well and to have him been killed early in those last 2 games and this game not even have a suspicion is absurd. especially even after claiming his role.

All in all, I just feel that the crux of your argument this late in the game is one that I've seen used more against villagers by wolves than I have seen against wolves/mafia by villagers. You ask the question that only the mafia can really answer, and then ding me because I can't answer the question to your expectations. Not only that, you still haven't answered it yourself.

But be my guess I would offer myself up for an info lynch if people would seem fit. And when it came back me as a Cit well maybe then people might want to hear what I have to say.

Sorry, I'm trying to read through all the pages of this thread I missed but I can't find yours anywhere, what was your theory?

I don't really see any reason for kyo to lie about being the doctor so then I'm wondering why bernek is deflecting so much hate on to kyo. Can't save himself from a lynch right? Sounds like something a mafioso would do.

Can you see any reason for him to come out as the doctor? Because the excuse he's used thus far is well, not good. "One guy was gonna vote for me, but didn't say why, OMG I HAVE TO COME OUT!" Sorry Kyo, but the excuse stinks.

While I DO agree with Bernek, that the excuse isn't a good one, I also agree with what Kyo said earlier, that it wouldn't be a good idea to lynch him at this point in time.

There are reasons to lie about being the Doctor. It sets up a lot of complications when someone claims it, and we don't know it's true. First of all, if it is true, it sets up an interesting decision for the mafia.

Do they try to kill Kyosukee as the doctor? Especially since he says he's picking himself to save each night, or do they pick another target? Most likely another target, but even still, if Kyo is lying and is not mafia, he provides cover for the real Doctor. Someone who could name Kyosukee anyway.

So say they go after Kyo and he was saved. They'll probably go after Kyo AGAIN, but still not find the doctor. Even if there are no doctor saves, it just makes everything complex.

Now if Kyo is mafia, and he's claiming doctor, he might get away with it because either the real doctor stays put, or causing another claim by the real doctor. Just causing plenty of fun and exciting confusion for the rest of the citizenry. ONE OF THEM is lying at that point, and most likely it'll be a vote between one of the two. However, at that point, it seems like a poor mafia decision. Why make it a one on one vote with a member, when you can just stay put and let the citizens hang themselves (as we seem to be doing so well). This is why I don't think Kyo is mafia, but that's kind of besides the point.

There are as many reasons to do what he did as anything else in the game.

Bernek, as far as Kyo's quality of play, I'm a believer. I enjoy playing with him (bro hugs), and think he's good. However, I can't buy into him being alive as evidence of his guilt. Referring back to my response to Solon, I don't think it makes enough sense for a mafia to lie about being the doctor when they're already winning. As you mentioned, Kyosukee didn't have a lot of heat on him, so why pull rank?

As the doctor he might. He might want to call it before the votes pile up and it's too late.

I'll reiterate that I don't think either of you are baddies at this point.

This could make a lot of sense. I don't remember the last time Liq has played. I mean the list of people who I would recall having played with Liq are myself, you Jazaray, mardak, and MeddlingMage. Possibly WCF, but I dunno.

Eh, I just found it distracting. Half of the game was spent trying to get people to use it, and the other half was trying to figure out how to use all of this "data" that it gathered. I just think it was a negative factor.

I'd have been ok with it if I wasn't expected to give a crap about it I guess.

Well, I guess it depends. If my theory is correct, the mafia would likely be scipio, solon and mardark. None of them were around for Liq.

If my theory is wrong, I'm leaning toward Hili and Rev. I think Hili would find it funny that he had asked Liq to play (or inquired about him playing anyways..) and then off'd him. And rev is just playing too innocently for my tastes.
