Well, if I did, it was worth it to me. The cards were in-person, no worries about mail or ripping. I also gave the guy $20 and he threw in an alt 4th Serra Angel-- I really have an eye for picking out alt 4th. I wish I had kept my mouth shut about the $20 or that I had taken out a Tezz first. I think I could have gotten him to agree without one of those things. In that respect, I'm not a very savvy trader. Oh well. I got what I needed. __________________ *MafiaBass*Joshweek*Letter Bombs!*Logout Mottle Salvation- a new place to play Mafia and WW

online stores have unplayed versions of FOW at $70. Are they really still available anywhere at $50?

Love you too Stu Yes guys, look at me. I made a mistake by assuming a card I don't play with has an interaction with a card it otherwise would. I freely admit that I completely forgot that protection from everything includes protection from lands. I retract my previous statement, Karakas is a terrible card because among all the cool interactions it has, it doesn't stop NO-Prog. I mean, Stu couldn't have suggested the oft-used Diabolic Edict. Nope, he has to be his good ol' troll self and be hateful to anyone who isn't him. tl;dr Stu is our favorite troll and Diabolic Edict is also another fine answer to NO-Prog or any other fatty (assuming the rest of their board is clear...which it usually is. Unless they're playing Elves. Then you're screwed if they go NO-Prog, usually.) __________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile! Sigh...you are basically a lost cause
Any way, a smart player will have Dryad Arbor ready to be fetched up and sacked to the Diabolic Edict

The thing is, they usually fetch for it turn 2 to NO-Prog turn 3, sacrificing the Dryad Arbor, leaving themselves vulnerable to an edict effect. They go for it turn 4 and be safe though, but more often than not they go for the blow out. __________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile! Oh, this is fun. We've got an entire fleet of mice in the river yelling that they need to raise the bridge. In other news, I finally found a new lgs to go to (the last one I left when I started getting a strong pedo-vibe from one of the regulars). Not only are their single prices cheaper, they're twice as close to my house __________________ "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost." -- Ronald Reagan

It still doesn't change that you don't know what you are talking about.

I'm deeply sorry for offending you, your opinion and thoughts matter to me almost as much as Stu's, on this subject. edit: The correct play would be turn 1 land, Hierarch, turn 2 land, turn 3 fetch for arbor, then cast Natural Order. On a completely unrelated topic:I'm looking for a bunch of Mirage basic land, preferably with specific pictures. Does anyone know of a store (or trader) who would have ~40 of each at reasonable prices? I know 40 of a specific picture is a lot, but I can try, right?

This would be your best bet, there's a bunch of vendors to choose from. http://magiccards.info/mr/en/297.html __________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile! Although magiccards.info has different picts listed individually, those stores don't. Each pic leads to the same stores, same price, same quantity.

Hmm...As long as you don't want Island "D", Starcitygames has them at $0.25 ea + shipping. You'll have to copy and paste the whole link instead of just clicking on it, sorry. Trollandtoad is buying regular ones for 60$ selling for 80$. Lots of other randoms have them for 90+. I also like that you checked one store then decided I was wrong. Even ebay has some at 85.
