Just figured I can have a chance to start one of these...Price of cards is to high and is a negative effect on magic and now allowing new players (without a good source of income) to play the game! __________________ Bargain is not to powerful for EDH, EDH is to weak for Bargain!

Really? We had to start a new one of these with that comment? Complaining about prices is such a negative topic starter.

Well, they are definitely worth higher than the $150 he offered right now and he is implying his offer is so great that I have to beg him not to retract it. lol. I wouldn't have second thoughts to decline the offer. scg was selling English ones at $100 so I'm sure the $110 JP Foil copy is a load of bs, or that he bought it ages back (same goes for the High Markets). I wonder if he is even on motl. If he only wants to refer to SCG as the only price guide, I'm sure a good number of members would love to sell him some cards at SCG prices. Reminds me of a motl member that said this when I quoted him close to $100 for a Japanese Foil karmic Guide. As usual scg was out of stock then. quote: Lol that's pretty obscene considering starcity sells the English foil for 15...

I'm really not a native english speaker, I'm from Sadistic Demonic Trollland. AKA: Minnesota. We speak Minnesotanese; and drink the blood of full grown bears that we kill with our bare hands while naked in a blizzard. Also, I'd like to point out in my defense that I failed Spanish class, and can't learn a foreign language for all the gold in Fort Knox. Anyway, back to topic. With U/B in Barcelona with Grave Titans, does anyone think that Grave Titans will see an increase in price? __________________ Bargain is not to powerful for EDH, EDH is to weak for Bargain!

I wasn't aware you were on your period either - when I said I didn't think you were a native english speaker I was serious. I have never traded with you before, and even if I had I don't remember everyone's address, and I definitely don't check their profile everytime I quote them on a forum. So take a chill pill buddy, believe it or not I was actually trying to defend you. You have my sincerest apologies that I was wrong about your country of origin.

I find it funny that this thread is now moving faster than the PFS.I unloaded my entire trade binder for 4 FoW Sunday. The highlights were 3 Tezzeret AoB, 4 Deed, a beat Maze, a Lackey, and 5 Hero of Bladehold promos. 4 Bloodghast too, but everything else was basically bulk.

I think you've misunderstood me, I knew you weren't being serious, and I was trying to go with the flow (admittedly we both failed at recognizing something in the other's post.) But I also like to be a sarcastic and abrasive ******* on forums in order to stroke my own overinflated ego before I snap and kill people in real life.back to topic: What are the (subjective) top 5 legacy and standard decks right now? I'm possibly going to be attending tournaments for the first time in a decade; and I prefer to build rogue decks tweaked to go against standard designs.

*sigh* Another trade thread complaining about card prices. There are always cheap replacements or even proxies. Actual staples are required only in tournaments, not casual games.

If Rogue is what you're after, then you'll probably want some kind of White/Black mashup. White gives you good graveyard hate with Jotun Grunt and Black gives the best hand Disruption with Hymn to Tourach, Thoughtseize, Duress, and others. From there you get to play Stoneforge Mystic, Dark Confidant, Vampire Nighthawk, and other efficent creatures like Tidehollow Sculler and Serra Avenger. One of the best things they all have in common is that they all cost 2, which makes Aether Vial really good here too. Finally, being in white allows you to play Karakas efficently which shuts down Show and Tell/Sneak Attack based decks (and the NO-Prog interaction too).edit: As for the 5 best...it's tough to say. But I'd definetly be prepared to face Dredge, Belcher, Tribal (both Merfolk, Elves and Goblins) and Tendrils based decks.

You over traded by a bit, but I'm hoping the bulk was mostly Standard, because Bloodghast and Tezzeret aren't just good in Standard.

Not sure if the two questions are related, but Zoo will not fit into a steep budget

Suppose you're an online magic store that has between 500 and 1500 of a junk common that has been reprinted over a dozen times that doesn't see play in any competitive format. If someone asks you to sell them several hundred do you:a) reply with "i dont relly want to sell mass qty of them" b) offer to sell them up to half your stock at currently listed prices ($0.12) c) offer to sell lots at a discount, because otherwise they'll just keep sitting in your inventory and never sell. From the three online shops I e-mailed, I've gotten answers a and b so far. Maybe the third one will give me answer c? Clearly I'm just naive.

So.. if you could buy NM force of wills at 42 euro each, how many would you buy? ^^The stores in my country are a bit slow in catching up - also found one with 32-euro wastelands. After 10x force though, money is running a bit dry.

I was just guessing by going by Apathy House. Last I checked Forces were at $50.
