It's not as it's played, it's a triggered ability when it enteres the battlefield. Since he controls both triggered abilities, he can stack them as he wishes. So, he puts the return to hand ability first (so it resolves last), then the untap ability second (so it resolves first). He untaps Golgari Rot Farm, adds GB to his mana pool and returns it to his hand, and repeats again and again.

Saprazzan Skerry works as far as I can tell. He removes a depletion counter and adds UU. He plays Dreadnought and Stifles the ability. Next turn he does the same thing.

I apologize for the Inkmoth Nexus deck; that was an oversight. I'll edit that out later and everyone should not score against that deck.

21B is not an illegal decklist, so it stays, despite the fact that Illusions is very bad without a way to trade it.

Dont worry about it, my reasoning is that my rtfc-Fu is weak. Stifle only costs 1 and for some reason I always think it costs 2. Doesn't change my performance in our matchup but yeah your deck is legal.

For future reference, mise decks are decks that lose to 5 island.dec (ie they have no win condition of their own)

Strategy is duress their combo or duress R1, name their combo piece with revoker, and Crush away Torpor Orbs and Memory Vials. Nexus is there as 2nd win con if they kill Revoker. I'm only going to cover scenarios where Duress or Revoker or Crush don't straight win. The biggest oversight I had was Noxious Revival allowing a player to ignore Duress (not really familiar with NPH set until this week) and combo off anyway.

Longest game that I won: 45 turns total.

Below are games/matches from 23a; 23b is much easier to score.

1a vs Yaku-spawn
T1 Duress Commandeer, Isleback Spawn takes more than 8 turns to cas (cove comes in tapped)t, so I win the race with 3/turn starting on my 3rd turn. On the draw the spawn does come down, but Nexus flies for the last damage.

2a can't deal with Noxious Revival, and assume he is smart enough not to let me Crush his artifact land until after it's used for Bitterblossom.

4a I can Duress his Amulet if I'm on the play, very original deck

4b If I duress Smallpox, I cannot lose Nexus to Inquisition (bye Revoker) and he wins the race. If I duress Inquisition, lose to Smallpox.

5a Must duress Aura of Silence or my Revoker dies. Then I hold revoker back, forcing a Crib Swap, Finally, I double block with the token/nexus forcing a draw. Since he always gets down Isamaru faster than me, I cannot race. Double Draw 02 points..

5b On the play I can Duress False cure, then it's 30 life (4 power -- 8 hit kill) vs 20 life (3 power -- 7 hit kill). On the turn when he's summoning sick, I swing in with Nexus. If he attacks with both Cutters I win the race. If he doesn't attack, I win. What he needs to do is attack with one and leave one back, turning it into 30 (life 2 power -- 15 hit kill) vs 19 life ( 1 power -- 19 hit kill). In which he will win on his turn 17 (total turns 35).

10a I duress an Invigorate, meaning he cannot kill via Tainted Strike, and if he uses the remaining Invigorate to trade w/ Revoker, I win the race anyway.

13b on the play I can Duress bitterblossom leaving a draw, otherwise Encroach wins.

11a How quick can he play Archon? Scroched Ruins required untapped lands to sac, so the steppe must have 5 counters on it and be untapped. I can bring him down to 5 life (draw) or 2 life (play), but archon will win.

15a Me: duress bitterblossom, him -- blackmail take land... neither can win.

17b On the play I duress his Inquisition, leaving his duress meaningless. Cast Revoker naming shortfang, staredown on ground, win with Nexus. (If he attacks I don't block and win race.) On the play he Inquisits Revoker, gets to flip shortfang and I lose.

18b I duress White Sun's Zenith. On the draw he's able to RSZ my Revoker before I can swing, but he can't nail Nexus, which hits for 20 before he can store 20 counters on a storage land. This is a long game, I win on my turn 23 (45 turns total).. this longest game?

19a On the play Duress blackmail. Play Nexus and start beating down. (hold revoker) If he plays Student of Warfare, use Revoker on it. Making a big *nothing* with Drop of Honey. Standoff occurs where he's tapping my Nexus every turn.

21b Duress Illusions. On the play I get Revoker/Nexus swinging on my turn 3 when all he has is a Bazaar trader (if it blocks he can't use the Image) so I win the race.

25a On my play I duress his innocent blood, ignore his duress, and win the race with 3 power vs 2. On the draw we exchange Duress, I hold *both* Crush and revoker, forcing him to play specter first (dropping Crush once he does). I swing in for one while his Peat Bog untaps. After Specter is in play, Revoker hits the table and I race. I never a situation develop where specter can block nexus, it's always smart racing, forcing him to Innocent blood both Specter and Revoker or simply trade. Six points.

27b On the play Revoker on Student wins the race. On the draw, he gets down 4 power worth of students and races me instead. (Double pump first one pre-revoker).

28b I crush his Vault of Whispers before he can Sculler, trade with Vault Skirge, Ornithopter can chump but that's it.

Also Sageshadows has LL against me all over the place but i'm pretty sure neither of my decks can do squat to a first turn Dreadnaught and my A deck can't do anything to beat 3 first turn goblins.
