I always say good luck after the round. Good for the tiebreakers.

So I've been playing a lot of those 4 pack swiss things on mtgo lately and in between rounds I'll watch a movie or whatever on my comp and not always will it let me know when the next match is started and I lose a bunch of time cause I don't wanna check every 5 seconds. Is this just a constant of life or there something I can change to let me know when matches start?

No offense, well, actually a lot offense. Qft is the worst acronym I have ever seen. Quoted for truth!? Just cause motl doesn't have a 'like' button doesn't mean you have to agree with someone, provide no opinion of your own, and sound like a douche while doing it.The sky is blue QFT See. Um...you realise this is the internet right? Those abbreviations have been acceptable use since before many users of this forum were literate.You can choose to not use them (I don't use them) but calling somebody an idiot for using an incredibly common and accepted internet short form? Seems silly.

So...I just thought. If you worked at Wizards and were developing the next set...couldn't you buy large amounts of cards and sell when the next set came out? Just a thought that crossed my mind.

I know that "you were just thinking" about it, so you probably haven't considered a lot of important details. Some jobs have non-disclosure policies and this would seem like one where that would be put in place. I cannot attest to it personally, because I've never worked for wotc. But consider that DCI suspended 2 players for spoiling a set a month in advance. Is it far-fetched to believe they'd dismiss you for doing what you're considering?

I believe there is, but not certain. I have a buddy who just got a job at WOTC and its something we've been discussing, but he wasn't sure all the details. WOTC has a company store where you earn points and get products using only those points (aka free product) so there is some design in place to stop employees from just selling stuff out the back is what we both came to. He was going to check into it and find out for sure, but that was just last week so not sure what hes found yet. We had all kinds of "what if" situations since i know he likes to play but can't touch sanctioned play any longer. Hes got a decent collection at that, so not being able to sell would be bad for him.

If you were to buy and sell on ebay I don't quite see any how that is leaking any trade secrets of violating any non disclosure agreements. It is existing product which you can legally obtain. Edit: Those two morons leaked a set. That's comparing apples to oranges.
