Well that was my original point. So they ban you from sanctioned play which is fine and their right to do so. So selling any magic card while an employee of WOTC is against policy I would presume?

Know the set beforehand doesn't guarantee that you will know what the money card(s) will be so i don't' see how its relevant if you pre-order things while an employee. Considering singles are all secondary market anyways.__________________

This is false for so many reasons. But just as one example Dark Depths.

In some cases it does give you an edge on hoarding certain cards (Say, if you know that Modern is actually going to be a format, start hoarding Rav lands and other good cards from Mirrodin onwards). Or if they are going to print a card that says "if you control a mayor of averbruck, win the game", then buy up all the mayors you can find. I bet certain dealers have under the table deals with people with access to the god book.

A better example would be Vampire Nocturus which went from 2.00 to 13.00 as soon as Zendikar was released.

or themes they force, Cycling, Cascade, Vampires, etc. If you know R&D is forcing a certain Theme, just horde the cards key to it being successful. __________________

Is there a bounce or removal spell for artifacts in the colors Blue or Black in the current Standard? Even if its a blink effect I don't care. I just need to geet rid of them for one turn.

WotC clearly stated you could get any promo from the past as the second card in a pack. What some people will do to get hits on their auctions...

Not on the Foils, least my Damnation was by itself, hell a few of the foils weren't even in any sort of plastic, and were just lose in the envelope.

Yes they were. I received my promo Damnations by them selves, then in later mailings had one in with the promos in the plastic.

I dont play MTGO but usually if there is some sort of sound that tells you that its ready to go you can turn on background sounds (look around in Audio setting on the control panel). Alternatively you can just not watch movies in full screen mode, give yourself a little room so you can see the mtgo screen.

Im pretty stoked. Finally completed my collection of one of each planeswalker from their original set (No Duel Decks or Promos). Now I just gotta wait for the slow mail to come.  Funny thing is I needed a Nicol Bolas to finish and the only one I could find locally was a foil one from Conflux. My wallet took a beating on that one. :l

It's amazing how much complaining there is on MTGS about Primeval Titan, Consecrated Sphinx, and Kokusho. I guess they have never played with or against Sundering Titan.
