Could be, but I see no reason not to test it. Most of the graveyards I see have ten or more cards in them pretty quickly. Reverse-threshold + 3 is obviously worse than regular threshold, but I think there's some potential there.

With better mill cards, it may be a decent beatstick. if there's a couple similar beaters and possibly another way to punish full graveyards it might be fun.

edit: it could probably be somewhat consistent a 5/5 for turn 3, is what i'm thinking.

That's exactly why the card is a trap. RUG delver often has problems getting it's nimble mongoose to hit threshold in a timely manner, so why would an OPPONENT hitting 10 in a timely manner seem somehow reasonable? And this is legacy we are talking about.

I'm also loving Murder, especially for EDH. Gives me another spot removal spell for my Kresh deck that can hit anything at all.

Jace's Archivist, Memory Adept, Mind Sculpt, Thought Scour. Maybe Mindshrieker and Drownyard. Not saying mind sculpt is a good card but i just want to see how playable it actually is.
Phantasm punishes graveyard archetypes, like dredge, solar flare, heartless lich, and u/b control on it's own anyway, which is fun.

Murder is just EDH/limited card. I have been waiting for it forever, though, i've known for years eventually there would be an instant speed unrestricted piece that would cost 1BB.

edit: Chill of foreboding, can still mill yourself. I kind of want to play this

It's a 2/1 for 3 that doesnt actually do anything. Your next draw could have been any of those anyway. So you're either playing an irrelevant creature on curve and now have a 5/6 drop when you just want a land, or playing an irrelevant creature as your 5/6 drop and setting up next turn.
