With all the doom and gloom over the new duals getting people worried about running 3 or even 2 color decks I expected to see a surge in mono-red (typically the the best mono strategy right?). On one hand we have a very nice 3cc red sweeper that will help against aggro decks (including mono-red) and a nice 1cc red beater. But oh those wacky guys at WoTC, the beater gets wrecked by the 3cc sweeper and burn in general.
