No. Only mods and admins can see karma. If you've never gotten an email telling you you've been warned, then your karma is, at minimum, 5. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. This set is going to be a blast for sealed, I'm pumped for the pre-release.
I'm also excited that the colors I like are seeing some love. Woo for 3cc flying trampling sphynx at uncommon!

This set is looking really good. I think it will do better than Innistrad, not sure about RTR though.

Yeah, Sealed will be fun. I can't make the pre-release, but I'll hit up the release.
Also, I quite like the Miscutter Hydra, even if it's not likely to make the cut in Legacy. It's a pretty decent surprise nonetheless. Probably a shoe-in for my mono-Green deck.

I like this set a lot too, but the only thing that is keeping it from being an All-Star is that there are no Eternal playables so far. No, Thoughtseize doesn't count. Innistrad has Snapcaster, Lily and Geist. RTR has Deathrite and Abrupt Decay.

Yeah I do mean the Chimera, for 3 mana, I feel like I'll have a hard time beating it.

What about the devotion land, Swansong, and possibly Gift of Immortality?

cabal coffers doesnt see play, and it's much easier to trigger than the devotion land. most decks don't actually put a lot of permanents into play, and if they have, they're already winning. swansong is probably just worse than spell pierce. gift isnt a card. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<@Anusien> Pretty sure New Zealanders are the sheep shaggers <KIP_NZ> Anusien: I'm a kiwi and I've shagged a sheep <KIP_NZ> we kiwi's like our sheep

Swan song is the only one I see that may see eternal play. Unless you can combo with the red god better than other combos.

4 cards combo! Cartel Aristocrat + another creature + Gift of Immortality + Red God! T1 - 1 drop T2 - Carter Aristocrat T3 - Gift T4 - Purphoros and pray that your opponent is a goldfish

I was waiting for a card like Fade into Antiquity If the gods were playable at all (which was already a huge if) that just made them much less so.

Yeah. Goldfishing means that you just go and play your deck out by yourself against no opponent. I also realized that my combo is now a nombo since Gift doesn't come back right away, but only at end of turn. Dang, I was going to build a fun casual deck for FNM with that.

But I DO now see the red god being in Pod...

Haha, I had to ask because I realized that your "combo" could kill but I thought you meant your opponent would have to be as stupid as a goldfish not to stop it before it killed them.

Please do not play the Red god in any iteration of Birthing Pod, since that interaction is stone terrible. Literally the only scenario where that does anything is if you have Melira, Kitchen Finks, a sacrifice outlet, AND the Red God all in play at the same time. Or, you could just have another Redcap instead and killed them already, while having generally useful interactions like killing Deathrite Shamans or Dark Confidants or opposing Birds of Paradise when you don't have 3 other combo pieces in play. The role you're describing as allowing Kitchen Finks to be lethal with melira and a sac outlet is replaceable by running a one-of Blasting Station, which provides the sacrifice outlet itself, meaning you need 3 rather than 4 combo pieces.

Still doesn't do anything. In fact it does less than nothing in that deck, which is why I don't think that was what he was talking about. The only thing you can make infinite of is Resto Angels or Deceiver Exarchs, and they're already lethal.

Yeah, but Melira-pod typically doesnt run red at all(except the hybrid cost of redcap), so I doubt he was talking that about that deck, which leaves us with Kiki-pod. I agree that the red god doesn't do anything, but who knows what he was thinking...

Only card in spoiler that looks like it might see some constructed play is the agent of mogis, largely because he's a 2/2 haste for 3 that can also give you an alpha strike. Everything else looks like trash, even for standard.
