Punk was "suspended" indefinitely after Raw for his comments (source: PW Torch).It's sad that it takes a guy leaving for Vince and Raw's creative team to use him properly.

Fairly certain that was a work. Amazing promo. And I don't think he's leaving for good on the 17th, FWIW. Wow, he IS the best.

Been liking Mark Henry as heel based on his storyline development last night on teh lines of rich and poor. kinda reminds of JBL on Smackdown a few years ago.

Turns out it was half and half. They let him go out there and speak from the heart, and told him they would cut him off if it went too far.

Did he really drop an F Bomb on Raw? I mean I was watching it and they bleeped it and it looked like it.
If so, WOW! Sure Vince wasn't thrilled about that.What do you guys mean by "work" and "half and half" __________________

Glad i dont watch TNA, i have no idea whats going on there.For one they insist on doing nwo clone storylines, which is boring the heck of me. They way they hiring talent for that crap they can keep the ratings they deserve.

A "work" is something that's scripted, like match outcomes and most promos. A "shoot" is something that's unscripted, like the Monteal Screw Job. A "work-shoot" is part scripted and part unscripted. As for the f-bomb, if Punk's promo was a work or work-shoot, Vince won't have any problem with Punk's language or anything he said. If it was a true shoot, he would have been fired, not "suspended", and Cena would have a different opponent at MitB.

I'm hearing more and more that Punk is expected to lose to Cena and not resign with WWE  I have some spoilers too... but unsure how to discuss them without ruining the future shows...

It's too early to predict or speculate the outcome imo, especially since the match will be at MitB. WWE has four ways* they can go with it, and all four will probably be on the table until the day of. *1) Cena wins, Punk leaves (permanently or temporarily, this is also the worst and most predictable option)
2) Cena wins, then retains or loses to the Raw MitB winner
3) Punk wins, then loses to the Raw MitB winner
4) Punk wins and leaves as champ, and is stripped on Raw (this is the best option imo because it gives WWE a ready made story line if Punk returns)

Like I said, there are further developments which may change your mind on that. Let me know if you want me to IM you spoilers.Personally, I'm a fan of Punk winning and being "forced" to stay as long as he's still got the title.

hmm its kinda hard for punk to win as john cheata only does 2 things now he cheats or loses in every match since the miz revoked his rematch clause. if john cheata wins its cus he cheated. if he loses it was right. capitol punishment was just dumb r-truth should be granted a rematch as fan interference would be grounds for cheata to be dq'ed. i hope punk does lose so he can get mad and stay. if he stays regardless then i pray for him to win and end the cheating reign. in regards to smackdown what happended to shemus? no interveiw or nothing this past week. i like mark henry as a hell but for goodness sake stay on smackdown!
please no more promo raws i am sick of the brand crossing freeway. back to punk, even know i should hate him with a passion for knocking jeff out of the wwe i like punk as a permanent heel, his group would fall apart without him he reminds me of jericho and he is just plain better. __________________

The ordeal abotu CM punk, is quite interesting, had nto what happened monday night they could have had him become champion. I think Cena will win and R-Truth could be pushed more against CenaMiz wont be involved as he'll be pressed against Alex Riley. An interesting thing would be would they try and push Del Rio vs Cena. I dont get the thing about the opposition about Sin Cara wrestling in the colored lights. It could be related to his wrestling and such.

I think DV needs to watch Smackdown tonight  But seriously, you people needs to read the news. CM Punk's contract ends on July 12th, but he did sign an extension to work through the Money in the Bank PPV. As for the promo, he was told by management to go out there and let everyone know why he was leaving. Everything he said was 100% real, yet it was still a work. The "work-shoot" was perfect here because they can play it into the storyline while letting Punk break kayfabe. The only reason he got cut off was because he brought up the anti-bullying issue. Punk pretty much got to live a dream on Monday by doing what he did. That said, I will go with MasterWolf and not spoil anything else, based on last week's show being taped already. However, I will also say that if the WWE did do "Summer of Punk II", then I would never miss an episode of Raw until he left. Problem is, it would never happen. __________________

It's sad that for an "entertainment" company, they seem to let a ton of entertaining ideas go by the wayside.

Mysterio vs Del Rio vs R-Truth to determine the "new" #1 contender for the title at MitB. Things are getting interesting, and entertaining. If only WWE's creative team was this good all the time.
