Am looking to build an Extended Gauntlet. 10 decks.

Currently planning to build:

Fae
Jund
UG Valakut

Is this a good start? What else should I be considering?

$1.37? 2 cents isn't too bad. I'd expect at least a 35 cent currency exchange flat rate plus their % on that.

no not 1 dollar and 37 cents. One Hundred and Thirty Seven Dollars \. Meaning the exchange is like 1 Canadian is 99.99 cents US (guessing here)

I'm thoroughly unimpressed by that "alter" as well, but Cardkitty is pretty popular and good, so i'm not too surprised her (i think it's a she?) stuff gets a premium (especially on a decent card).
Err, 30 bucks is still ridiculous for that though.

When artist alters are cheaper than "hack alters" there is something wrong in the world.

I would take a stickman drawn on a napkin from Picasso, than a marvelous painting from an impersonator.

No one is arguing. I merely posted my opinion that sometimes fame > talent, but it seems like you want to escalate this to a personal level.

I would too, but then again, you can't compare Picasso to the dude that drew Orgg

I've bought numerous alters from Card Kitty. I've been impressed with what I've received. If you like the whole altered or extended art thing, I definitely recommend something from Card Kitty.
