Pandemonium + Blightsteel Colossus seems like an insta-win. Idk how you'd do it in EDH though...__________________ (Humans) are stubborn, self-destructive conformists. Any other view of our species is just self-congratulatory delusion. Next Question." -- Michael Crichton, The Lost World

A collector that almost peed in his pants when I cracked the pack lol :P I didn't want to sell it, he offered me 100$ and I said that I wanted to actually build something with it, then he offered me 150$ (140$ cash + a Inkmoth Nexus (2nd one tonight )) and well.... couldn't refuse that offer lol!

Stores around here sells @ SCG prices + 5% for the diff between US$ and CAN$ and one store precisely (will shut down on Feb 28th) was selling @ SCG prices + 15% because SCG is a online store with a bigger buy power.... way to go champ, your store will be closed in less than a week lol.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what packs can be searched. I heard it was pointless to buy any revised boosters because they could be searched. A shop near here has some Antiquities boosters for sale and I was thinking of picking them up if they can't be searched.

Does anyone know about dates and such on the judge promos? I'm curious, with worlds and the release of clique/bitterblossum are they no longer giving out SoFI and whatever else? From what I call that sounds correct, but it also seems like the promo sword hasn't been around long enough to be OOP.quote: Originally posted by ninjazwig: I was just wondering if anyone knows what packs can be searched. they can be. Anything before they started using the foil wrappers can be searched. I think its everything after fallen empires that's safe from that sort of seaching

From what I have seen, they gave out the SoFI at PT Paris.

Man, I've had 3 offers in the past week that were over 8-10 dollars in the other persons favor. Do people have no shame? I can understand them trying to pull this kind of stuff with a member with low refs, but i have almost 200. I had one NEW member say that his cards were worth 25% more then mine, cause his cards were decked! That is probably the most outrageous thing i have ever heard on this site.

Maybe the reason is the packs have become so cheap so quickly? I mean, you can get MBS packs for 3.5tix already and it's been online for just over a week now. It took SoM much longer to drop in price, iirc. Or maybe people are dumb. This might just be it! In other news, Peasant Cube is tons of fun .

Hey, does anyone here know how tracking from France works? The guy says he sent registered but the tracking number doesn't work for laposte. Pretty sure I sent non-gift paypal and can still get the money back, but should I'm not too sure if he's ripping.

This one is sweet. Not really a card suggestion, I know, but there's also some good card discussion on that thread if you don't want to straight up copy. The peasant cube is definitely some good times... I just got bored this summer and went full-out and it has been collecting dust.

When did he send though? If it's only been a week or so I wouldn't worry. Every international package that I've received has taken at least ten days or more to arrive. And, most importantly, have you tried to contact him?

I don't think card suggestions will help without context. So, I decided to write a novel in response! If you want to build a Cube you could just start by putting all your favorite/powerful cards together and run it. But the format has been around long enough that you can benefit from the research and playtesting of others, helping you to build a good game play experience much more quickly. First of all, I would recommend reading wtwlf123's Cube Design article. Knowing your playgroup is essential to creating a good Cube experience. If you want to do something with restrictions, such as Pauper/Peasant, check out Adam Styborski's 5-part series. A little more theory can be found in this article and this article by Usman Jamil. If you are interested, check out his SWOT analysis at that link as well. Solid reads. You could also check out Tom Lapille's Cube Design Hand-Off. Finally, a link to two different Peasant Cubes: Mine and Klug's. Klug's is very well tuned while mine is still under construction. I'm trying to go in a bit of a different direction than Klug but a lot of staple cards will cross over. And yes, Sol Ring, Top and Skullclamp have all been hit by the banhammer in my Cube. So unfair, they are. Happy Cubing! -Glenn
