That would indeed be really awesome! I'd love to be able to collect a complete set like that if it existed as well.

:dons nerd cap: Well, in a technical sense, phyrexians don't have a reproductive process anything like ours, so I don't think any can be considered "male" or "female" :doffs nerd cap: But yes, in each depiction elesh norn is referred to as a "she" AFAIR. __________________ "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost." -- Ronald Reagan

That's exactly what a friend of mine and I were talking about the other day. 3 PW and they couldn't do anything about it?? I mean, phyrexians hadn't even settled in yet. But oh well, It only took 9 PW last time....

White is about the society. Buffing your own while hurting the others is an acceptable white strategy. But it is Phyrexian, which is where something like that would fit perfectly.

Maybe promos? I am absolutely ready to make proxies anyway. Glad Phyrexian won like i thought. Elesh and the cenobites are absolutely gorgeous. I don't actually know much about Karn, but i'm obsessed with artifacts and Phyrexia and they will make a great couple. edit: Elesh is a bit out of color with the massacre effect, i would totally have guessed (and maybe prefer for logical reasons alone) she'd be black with a slightly white ability were i only told her abilities. She has white p/t and the glorious anthem though. I really like her in white a lot better than i would black. Why doesn't she have infect though, loike her priests from the last set? __________________ If you can make/print proxies, i will trade for them. Also looking for Microprose MTG computer game. One thing for sure, Elesh Norn will crush some people in EDH. It'll be like Massacre Wurm and just destroy some tribal/creature decks. __________________ Most References in Massachusetts 87th All-timeSupport my friend's store: http://www.tabletoparena.com

Not just 9 PW, 9 demi-god PW's, not the weaker ones now, Phyrexians seem a good fight for our new PW's seeing how they basically trashed them back when being a PWer mattered. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

Well, as wizards is making clear, Phyrexia + Yawgmoth (the black-aligned, nigh-unstoppable force of destruction that was vanquished in the weatherlight saga) is LEAGUES stronger than just Phyrexia (the 5-color force on mirrodin). __________________ "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost." -- Ronald Reagan

Some of these cards are OP to the point that I doubt their validity. On the other hand:1) This correlates with the suspicion that the announcement of New Phyrexia last tuesday wasn't how Wizards wanted to debut the news, but rather was a hastily done reveal to pre-empt the information being spoiled by another source. 2) As Mark Rosewater stated at the end of the GDS2, the "phyrexian mana" mechanic is eerily similar to one of the mechanics the applicants submitted (the gold counter theme).

Crovax, Ascendant Hero is from a set with a different alternate timeline. Gatherer it. There's like not many at all. Holy light? Otherwise...can ya name some cards from white that give negative counters? ~Revenger __________________ Your 2008 and 2010 Motl Siskel & Ebert award winner! This sig is prepping you all for the 2011 Motl Awards! Everytime I think a new card is OP/broken and will break the format, I remind myself about Upwelling when it was first spoiled and people were crying about how it is OP/broken. Have some faith in WoTC.

There's a difference: These cards are not confirmed to be real. If/When WOTC verifies these cards, I'll trust that they aren't broken. Until then, no. These strike me as too powerful, and the only thing that will change my mind is Wizard's seal of approval. __________________ "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost." -- Ronald Reagan
