It's not the worst thing in the world, it might turn out to be a good sideboard card, but I was really thinking they were going to print cards like quasali pridemage. Good on its own and MVP under certain situations. ps. I really like that batteringskull equipment. Too bad it's mythic and already $10+

Oh and no one mentioned the R/W sword? And how it seems pretty terrible? Probably the worst one so far?Though that's what people said about the G/B one and that turned out to be... pretty rad...

It's going to sodomize Caw-Blade. +2/+2 and unblockable, and that's one hell of a life swing. Probably going to be in even higher demand since the pro red and pro white aren't covered by any other sword thus far. __________________ "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost." -- Ronald Reagan

Nice, Wizards printed a black wrath effect that doesn't cost 8+ mana. I was going to get a new art Enslave for EDH but now it's getting kicked out of the deck. __________________ Most References in Massachusetts 85th All-timeSupport my friend's store: http://www.tabletoparena.com

RW sword + Mirran Crusader. If they have 6 cards in hand, 1 hit is 20 dmg.

batteringskull looks to be a prime Mystic target. get a 4/4 life-linker vigilance creature, that you can bounce for 3 and the replay for 2 with your mystic. SCG sold out at 14$ and bumped it to $20Some money Uncommon in the set too. Beast within, Despise, and Mental Mistep are all looking to be big. SCG wants 4$! for misstep???

I'm looking out more for Lashwrithe; its going to be a huge house in casual; and is going to fuel black decks in standard/extended for a while. EDH is also going to love the card; so expect a $5-10 price range; (if not more.)

Where will it be after Stoneforge leaves the format? I like it but i wouldn't play more than 1 right now either. Also if they kill your stoneforge it is more of a dead card in your hard compared to the other swords. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

So Does Meliria combo with Phyrexian unlife??you don't lose the game for having 0 or less life, instead everything deals damage to you ad though it had infect, and meliria Eliminates that. Is this a 2 card combo to never die?

Melira, Sylvok Outcast Legendary Creature - Human Scout (R) You can't get poison counters. Creatures you control can't have -1/-1 counters placed on them. Creatures your opponents control lose infect. She would have been better if she didn't have 'Creatures your opponents control lose infect.'

It still a control card power house, a recurring almost unkillable 4/4 vigilant life-linker. If they kill your Stone forge you sword is more dead if you have no creatures where as come 5 mana your Skull is still a 4/4

I will be deeply surprised if Jin-Gitaxias is not banned in EDH. It's practically another Emrakul in that it just shuts down the entire game.__________________ "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost." -- Ronald Reagan

Its counterable so it won't be and if its someone's general you can just gang up on em.

If that's someone's general it is super easy to deal with. Ten mana general? Good luck getting that one out.quote: Originally posted by Bugger: I will be deeply surprised if Jin-Gitaxias is not banned in EDH. It's practically another Emrakul in that it just shuts down the entire game.
It's way easier to deal with than Emrakul. It might be annoying but I doubt it will get the banhammer. Besides, everyone plays Reliquary Tower anyway so it probably won't matter that much.

and you still get one turn to cast the cards in your hand and you get to cast any cards you draw. not that much worse then Myojin of Night's Reach. The +7 draw is nice if it makes it to then end of your turn.

visual spoilers based on godbook are being pulled from everywhere per wotc request. I'm not going to link to the ones I found up, but I'm sure you can use google like anybody else.
