A "free counter" that was XU, counter if not pay X, where you could pay phyrexian mana for U and X would have been a half-decent FoW reprint, for one.

I really thought they were going to make cards that hit non-creature, non-land stuff and would be useful otherwise too. Something along the lines of: 3 artifact - creature 2/2 metalcraft - +1/+1 and flying. ~ gains "sacrifice: destroy target non-creature, non-land permanent"

Also Leeching bite clearly should have been able to move a poison counter from one player to another or a -1/-1 from a creature to another. Also Meliria = the "just in case we didn't test infect well enough" reset button. Triumph of the hordes seems too strong for limited to be just uncommon.. I dunno Also Darksteel Relic is clearly the card Phylactery Lich needed to finally be broken haha WINK Immolation Souleater + Berserk = haha.
