I would be, but not at that price unfortunately. quote: I wish stores would sell them at MSRP instead of pricing them by their contents.
There's not really any point in doing so if you know people are going to just buy them and be able to re-sell the money cards at a (possible) profit. I guess the normal money carsd would go down a little bit in price, but they'd have to be below the MSRP...

Really? I saw a foil Jar and was very unimpressed. I thought the could have done much better with it. __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*Facebook*Logout- I had it second!*CKGB

jar of eyeballs can be pretty good in limited if both players have fairly slow running decks. Being able to draw many cards with it makes it very worth while. At the same time, I've also drafted it and had a ton of other 3 drops so I cut it. It really takes the right deck to even consider playing it.

I'm sure that's partly due to the "selling for a friend" aspect of the collection. Any time I've sold cards for people, they have had very unrealistic expectations about what they would bring in. I usually need to put up the shoot the moon price before I can convince them to come down. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Probably due to rules infractions, not bad trading practices.

I suppose if you don't have much of a collection and need something to play at FNM it's not all that bad. It just seems ridiculously overpriced paying top dollar for each individual card when buying a pre-con.
No, you want stores to sell them to you at their cost. MSRP on these decks is 25.00 each, 50.00 for the pair. It is so sad that people always expect something for nothing.

worse then I thought. Recent draft we had MANY packs with multiples of the same common. One pack had 3x cards duplicated and I was told afterward that one card was 3x but someone drafted a copy. That is pretty bad. Makes drafting really awkward too.

What is the approximate number of Mythics in a box? My DA box had 5. Two foil rares and a decent variation of cards in the UC/C slots with the exception of a fairly high number of Loyal Cathar/Unhallowed Cathar which showed up a lot more often than any of the other common flip cards.I'm not complaining. It was a good box and I got most of what I was after for my EDH zombie tribal. Here's the box: Mythics: Beguiler of Wills Havengul Lich Huntmaster of the Fells/Ravager of the Fells Sorin, Lord of Innistrad Vorapede Rares: Geralf's Mindcrusher Gravecrawler Vault of the Archangel Thalia, Guardian of Thraben Increasing Ambition Grim Backwoods Grafdigger's Cage Jar of Eyeballs 2x Curse of Echoes Seance Hellrider Increasing Vengeance 2x Increasing Confusion Increasing Devotion Feed the Pack Lost in the Woods Flayer of the Hatebound Increasing Savagery Curse of Misfortunes Fiend of the Shadows Markov Blademaster Call to the Kindred Alpha Brawl Curse of Bloodletting Deranged Outcast Ghoultree Sudden Disappearance Thraben Doomsayer Counterlash Foil Rares: Havengul Runebinder (foil) Flayer of the Hatebound (foil) Rare Flip Cards: Mondronen Shamen/Tolovar's Magehunter Ravenous Demon/Archdemon of Greed Wolfbitten Captive/Krallenhorde Killer

The distribution of mythics is supposed to be 1 out of 8. This averages out to 4.5 mythics per box, so 4 or 5 mythics would be considered average. The flip cards are independent of the regular collation and give you a small extra chance at a mythic. __________________ "If you're right 90% of the time, why quibble about the other 3% ?""I intend to live forever. In the past there has been only slight differences in coloring of the cards. If you mixed one event deck card into a play set of pack pulled cards, it would easily stand out. If you have a play set of event deck cards, its likely no one would notice the difference.

I feel that way every time I see Arch/Planec/DuelD cards.

The commander cards were a much different color.
