Idiots buy this stuff. Repacks full of junk and searched boosters. I have no idea what he's trying to sell in the auction you linked. I reported it.

Gotta love the fact that on a similar looking auction he sent NeoPets cards according to one of the negative feedback he has.

Some guy left neutral feedback and wrote "I thought I was getting a Polluted Delta" for $5.99.

Another guy bought one and wrote "Great!! Got Tropical Island!". That account has 56 refs (he sells repacks too -coincidence- great minds think alike.) the seller has 99 and are both located in Canada. Hmmm, I don't if he got lucky, has multiple accounts, or if it is someone he knows leaving bogus feeback.

I can't believe eBay still allows repack auctions... the sellers are disingenuous and the products are often misleading or blatantly ambiguous.

Even still, eBay bidders will take a shot at something, because when it comes down to dispute resolution, the burden of proof ultimately falls on the seller.

That's not quite fair. I sell the booster box "repacks" and am very open about the fact that I pulled out everything of decent value. And I've sold 10 of these in the last week

Sounds perfectly fine... he obviously says hes selling 10x Lands! And then proceeds to copy and paste a description from a different auction... Not entirely sure what the pictures have to do with anything tought, THAT was misleading >.>

A bit off subject, but I noticed Ebay is getting flooded with those altered foil cards. It is getting out of hand. Is there any legal course that Wizards may take to eliminate such atrocities?

copyright infringement laws. the people doing the foil alters are seen as printing magic cards. a guy in cincinnati has been issued a cease and desist order for the anime foil alters he was selling on ebay. im sure wizards has issued more then just that one.

You can alter Magic cards however you want, just don't attempt to make a business selling the alters...that said, some of them are BEAUTIFUL.

Curious, since there is only 1 underground sea pictured, not 38.

He just bought 2 PS3s, an iPad, some $200 headphones, and a bunch of magic cards with his funds from all the fake auctions he listed. I have to think buying a bunch of crap is going to leave a pretty big paper trail.

Funny that although not about magic, the listings they show, 2 out of 4 of them are magic cards.

I mean, when the seller thinks his four gold bordered cards are worth $45 and they're all crap, he must be tripping, right?
