How about because I can't add anything to the BB main page? How about because most people come directly to the forums and don't bother reading the main page? We're doing everything that we can to try and stop this jerk from doing what he's doing, I'm sorry it's not enough for you.

A) I didn't say anything about the main page
B) As MOTL's mom, you SHOULD have the power to do this simple task
C) Anyone who has interest in this site as a figure of authority should make it their duty to warn everyone. It would be very easy to modify a small portion of the site to say such a thing as a header, and I would do it myself if I was given the power for 15 minutes.
D) Anyone who has interest in using this site for trading should be aware of the risks.
E) Why has nobody beat the living tar out of John already, or pressed charges, or etc. etc.
F) Don't be sorry to me. The guy never ripped me off and I am wary when dealing with people and do a background check on them and their references.
G) I don't do much trading on here anymore as the shipping rulings and people waiving liability has removed much interest in it for me. All my deals have a necessary $200ish minimum to make the $30 shipping worth it. Which doesn't usually happen.

C) Actually, after what you said, I got to thinking about what nouveaux did with the red tagline we had on the site for a while, so I emailed him and I'm happy to say there should be a nice ripper alert on each and every forum, with a link here.

D) We try to make everyone aware of the risks, but we can't go to each members house and make them read the rules, read the BTA and trade safely. We can only tell them how to do so.

E) I can't answer this, except to say that violence (IMHO) is not the answer.

The main page is the main page, the page you go when you type magictraders.com into the url browser. The BB Main Page is the link available at the top of the main page. Or, at least, this is how I see it.

They can open/close/edit threads/posts in their assigned forums. They can smack/ban people in their assigned forums, they can fix email addresses and make announcements (IE: The forum rules on each forum). That's it. We can't mess with the site itself at all. And, I'm sorry to say, but I would make a horrible admin! I have no idea how to do what Nouv does, I know next to nothing about computer programming and all. Heck, I can't even make my computer's Shockwave Player thing stop crashing.
