Yes standard is a terrible format too. That's why I don't play either one.

What a suprise....try to log into MTGO v4 for the first time in a month, and low and behold, it just freezes trying to load up. LOL, oh WOTC, how do you suck so hard?

I'll be happy when MTGO goes away. Back when I first heard about it I thought it was a huge waste of money.

But the idea of it is awesome. I'd love to be able to draft online when I'm not able to go to the store. I just wish they would pay real programmers with experience to make it decent. It's been how long since the original release? So they just launch a new version that's broken. Fantastic. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. Some parts of the idea are fantastic and some suck. Playing anytime is great, but paying physical MSRP is not. I wish I could just pay a subscription to get access to all the cards with free casual play.

I doubt it's going anywhere anytime soon, easy moneymaker for Hasbro.

The latest update appears to have done some bad work. I have been waiting patiently for it to load for about half an hour now. There are a few others who have posted about this issue as well on the WotC site.I really do wish they would pull their heads out of their asses and just bring in real digital talent.

I'm sure they have done the math on what is more profitable for them. The fact is, despite the many flaws of MTGO, it's still extremely popular and widely used in its current form. The MSRP aspect has pretty much kept me from seriously playing it for many years. I just can't stand the idea of paying full retail on product that I never actually own. However, I understand the arguments that have been made about cutting the price to much. At some price point, you would likely drive people out of physical stores. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Ugh. If you're going to quote a rule on MWS, READ IT. Especially since I pointed out that the very last clause invalidated his/her interpretation. =/__________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. Stop getting mad about people being idiots on MWS, it's literally part of the program.

Just frustrated. I know it's par for the course--I've been using MWS for, a decade?--but sometimes it still manages to sneak under my skin. It's not that hard to be polite, even on the internet. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think they will sing to me." -T.S. No consequences for being immature, no face to face contact to evoke human emotions...I'd argue the hardest place to be polite is on the internet.

Hence the "even". Then again, it's not like I need to restrain myself from being awful online. In fact, it takes zero effort. But yeah, I guess the internet exacerbates certain personality traits.
Anyway... I made up a mono-green Eldrazi Oath EDH deck this morning. It's working quite well, even though it's a bit... well, I can imagine it isn't the most awesome thing to play against, even if it is a little unusual. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. Outside of Stifle, is there any way you can keep a reanimated creature around with Corpse Dance? So far my best trick is to get it out of play, then back in somehow (Deadeye Navigator, or sacrifice to keep recurring it for ETB effects).

Uh, pretty much all blink effects? Restoration angel, momentary blink etc etc. Technically bouncing it and recasting it somehow?

People who double-queue on MTGO really annoy me.

I'm still having this problem, is there a way around it?

It looks like modal spells are getting retempletted to use bullet points. Everything in gatherer is showing up differently today.

Makes gatherer easier to read, that's for sure. Would make the cards easier to read, too, but I dunno if there's enough space in the text box for bullets. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. You could always make your own... scroll halfway down that page for the WB Onslaught fetchlands and WB Unglued basics. __________________ The Best Thing About EDH: "It’s like poker night, but nerdier." ~David Schreiner

I'll never understand why people are making a huge fuss about fetch lands being reprinted.__________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. Say it like you mean or STFU." -rockondonMy Sale Thread
