Banding... one can only dream such a logical creature ability were to be reprinted (no, this isn't sarcasm..) On the horse thing, there is already something called horsemanship. But on the subject, it would have to be specified. I mean, it would be silly to give your Krosan Colossus a horse. That would be one hell of a mount. Can't imagine who'd you have to be more afraid of.

It's also silly to give a starfish a scythe or a suit of armor, but you can do each multiple times on the same starfish.

I have equipped Sigiled Starfish with Fleetfeather Sandals in a draft. Such a flavor travesty. I couldn't help but wonder how it decided which feet to put them on. Then I imagined it flying. Then I wondered why I drafted these terrible cards.

Eh? Sandals are acceptable, not great, but Starfish is a boss. Scry 1 every turn is spectacular in THS block draft.

Why would you open some many boxes from this set? I understand the thrill of opening packs but the set is so weak and there are so much better alternatives.

I don't play sealed but I would jam GB for Master of the Feast. Prowler's Helm, Grisly Transformation, Marauder to just jam damage through. Nyx Weaver, amulet to thin/recur Master. The rest heroic and heroic enablers. I'd imagine Raised by Wolves has to be insane in sealed. Edit to remove the giant list of cards from my reply Edit 2: Loaded it into MTGO while waiting for a round to start. Looks like GB or RW are both pretty solid. I'd probably still play GB 1 Nature's Panoply 1 Traveler's Amulet 1 Pharika's Cure 1 Returned Phalanx 1 Satyr Wayfinder 1 Swordwise Centaur 1 Drown in Sorrow 1 Aspect of Gorgon 1 Feral Invocation 1 Grisly Transformation 1 Ashiok's Adept 1 Black Oak of Odunos 1 Master of the Feast 1 Mogis's Marauder 1 Nyx Weaver 1 Servant of Tymaret 1 Pheres-Band Tromper 1 Ravenous Leucrocota 1 Raised by Wolves 1 Gray Merchant of Asphodel 1 Loathsome Catoblepas 1 Abhorrent Overlord 8 Forest 8 Swamp 1 Island

This is what I would play:8 Island 9 Mountain 1 Aerial Formation 1 Akroan Crusader 1 Coordinated Assault 1 Epiphany Storm 1 Firedrinker Satyr 2 Flamespeaker's Will 1 Nyxborn Rollicker 1 Retraction Helix 1 Satyr Hoplite 2 Crypsis 1 Deepwater Hypnotist 1 Fate Foretold 1 Impetuous Sunchaser 1 Satyr Rambler 1 Sigiled Skink 1 Nyxborn Triton 1 Coastline Chimera 1 Felhide Spiritbinder 1 Forgeborn Oreads 1 Prescient Chimera 1 Horizon Scholar Your blue is pretty good and has some great fliers. It's a little light on removal, but considering that this is sealed and not draft, that should be OK. You can use Crypsis and Retraction Helix as pseudo-removal. The main problem with your blue is that it is all fairly expensive. That led me to pick red as a good complement. Your red is very aggressive, but lacks any great bombs (though Forgeborn Oreads should be really good). This build hopes to put enough pressure on early that you can get in a good amount of damage in and then finish things off with your fliers or with Crypsis. A lot of people build around their expensive bombs, and I think that this deck would be too quick for most opponents to handle. If you end up against a deck that forces you into a longer game then you can side in Thasa's Bounty, Pharagax Giant, Knowledge and Power and Polymorphous Rush. Maybe Epiphany Storm should be something else in the main deck -- probably Polymorphous Rush.

Got another order of cards damaged because they contacted the tape that was holding them in the top loader. This seems to happen to about 20% of cards shipped this way but sellers on eBay and TCG keep doing it, and I'm getting really frustrated.Put a slip of paper in there you idiots.

I use deck protector sleeves which typically create enough compression that the cards don't move. But I have received cards the way you describe.

How is it possible for the cards to be damaged by that? I can't imagine it sticking enough, unless the card was unbelievably beat.I personally sleeve the card(s), then put them in facing the other way, so the tape couldn't touch the cards. Pretty easy.

Don't believe me? Overlap a piece of scotch tape with the black border of the card of your choice and leave it there for a few days. After you remove the tape there is zero chance your card is still NM. It happens more often with the top loaders that are about a centimeter taller on the back side than on the front side. If the cards should slide up in the loader it gives a fairly large area to contact the cards. However, I've had this happen with standard loaders as well. quote: I personally sleeve the card(s), then put them in facing the other way, so the tape couldn't touch the cards. Pretty easy.
Part of the reason why this is so frustrating is precisely because it is easy to avoid.

With penny sleeves, top loaders and team bags being so affordable there is absolutely no reason anyone should be taping top loaders when trading.Edit: to clarify, put card in sleeve. Insert sleeve in top loader open side down. Insert token or advertisement card to prevent card(s) from moving. Put top loader into team bag open side down and seal. If shipping several cards use two top loaders and out sleeved cards between them like a sandwich. Use team bag to secure them.

I had it remove the edge of the black border on each card i na playset I ordered one time. Its most certainly just not good practice to let this happen.

Bought some cards on ebay listed as foil, seller messaged me saying he had left the package on the table to be mailed next day and the dog got to them, he refunded me.Yep. I check a few days later and he lists the same item (with the same picture, hard to tell whether foil or nonfoil from the picture) as nonfoil. You bet I left some feedback.

Anyone have any experience with peeling foils? What's the best set to do so with? I want to avoid ripping the cardboard, leaving glue, or leaving foil residue.I was certain i had good luck with 10th years ago, i don't remember now.
