I had about 5-7 wants of a user, and he had 5-7 of mine, all under $5 or at least under $8. I list off like maybe 6 small cards i need, and about as many i had for him, and ask if he sees any deal to be made. He writes back "I am interested in your [lists like 4 dual lands including sea], let me know how you want to work it out".

In a sense buylists between vendors have been more competitive, so trading has just become more centralized through onsite dealers in a sense.

My first MTG art, Kev Walker is such an awesome guy he sent me 3 different foils signed by him with the art and will be shipping me some proofs when he gets them (i bought the art before the release of the set)

It's not that I need to get a better deal on every trade, but the constant checking of prices takes trades to new levels of time required.

A lot of stores use SCG as a price guide now, so store prices are actually semi reasonable.

A lot of people I've seen buy at half SCG rather than coming up with their own buylists. I'd like to see SCG pull the rug out from under lazy wannabe dealers somehow.

Each sample deck has several cards numbered 270 and higher that do not appear in Magic 2015 booster packs. These cards are legal for tournament play in any format that includes the Magic 2015 core set.

it doesn't really matter what sets if you're willing to clean the surface. I forgot my blank cards at home when I went to GP Sacramento and I just HAD to have Rush make me a "token". I peeled whatever random theros (or similar) junk foils I had, then I used rubbing alcohol I got from a 7-11 at 1 AM to clean them. Trust me, acetone is farrrrrr preferred to rubbing alcohol, but that was the only thing I could find at the only store we could find open. It did the trick, they got all clean and I got me a nice peice done from Chris Rush.

Here's the thing, after I joined their group they invited me to come play and trade with them. So I asked them what guide they generally go by in trade valuation... (thinking SCG or TCG low/mid/whatever, ebay completed's or w/e) They all use some weird crap I'd never even heard of and they told me that they value bulk rares at $1.00 each They even went so far as to say, quote, "But you can sell them for a dollar each if you want to"

Me = flabbergasted!
