Does anyone else agree that the New Wizards website is just terrible? MODO, new Website, and Duels of the PW .....all terrible.
WOTC banking on the fact they hooked enough into the game that they can make things terrible and yet you'll still throw money at them.

Based on comments I've heard from MaRo over the years I'd say the WOTC/Hasbro is actually extremely concerned that the game continues to grow its player base. All the sweeping changes are more likely the result of a new manager coming in and trying to make their mark on the product/brand. Edit: the new wizards website is terrible. I like that they tried to reformat everything for my phone, but the result is often barely readable and I can no longer zoom in on pictures. If I click on a name in a deck list it used to pop up a picture of the card - now that functionality only works for non-decklist-links.

WotC has a pretty mediocre digital team, it seems. DotP 2015 is a step backwards, the changes to mtgo are sidegrades at best and the new website is terrible. They have enough cash flow, they should put some money on the table and build a stable of programmers that are top of the heap. The digital team is the biggest hurdle to Magic taking the next step, if you ask me.

http://mtg-realm.blogspot.com/2014/07/sdcc-mtg-panel.html?m=1This blog had a decent recap of the info from the wizards comiccon panel. The returning mechanic is morph - lots of good potential there that wasn't use in onslaught. Very surprised to see a wedge block only one away from another multicolor block, but glad to have it nonetheless. Multicolor cards tend I be very powerful and fun.

Khans the set is wedge. Khans the block is not.

Anyone think he might come back as a Tri-Color PW?

I suspect Sarkhan will end up three colors. Jund seems the obvious option and if that is the case, it might not be until later in the block. If he is in the fall set then he could be in one of the wedge colors that contains red.

Or one of the Wedge colors that supports Green. GBW seems more likely for a tri-color Sarkhan considering he was once was black, too.
The only option with red that seems to go with his colors is the RUG variant, but how does blue fit with Sarkhan? Not saying it's for certain, just thinknig of the possibilities. He could just appear as a 2 color PW again.

I'll be ecstatic if Nicol Bolas is in Khans of Tarkir. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. Say it like you mean or STFU." -rockondonMy Sale Thread

Trouble brewing on the judge front.http://blogs.magicjudges.org/lems/2014/07/28/confirmed-no-grand-prix-judge-foils-in-2015/ __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

I believe the story is that wizards no longer gives out promos for GP's and instead actually pays the judges for that event. I image it's a tax/legal issue.EDIT: Nevermind. This applies to all events, even those not run by Wizards.

Correction: The TO will be eating the extra costs of compensating the judges. Wizards never paid them. This was just a pass-through they gave to TOs to compensate the judging staff. At this point, the new exemplar program is likely going to be the distribution channel, but details on that are so far vague. Bottom line is that it could soon become MUCH harder to get your hands on judge foils. You are probably right on the tax/legal thing though. Some accountant/tax attorney at WotC probably figured out that you can't value something at $0 that judges are turning around and selling for hundreds. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Entire comiccon panel posted by Wizards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S3_oYCnBaklots of extra information revealed that I haven't seen written elsewhere; for instance, the RWB clan has goblins and they talk about some new races as well.

Despite knowing the majority of the information I really enjoyed the panel presentation. It is worth the 45 minutes to watch.

One last tidbit from the panel. At the Q&A MaRo called Conspiracy "a resounding success" and said that they are reprinting it. Since it was successful they will be doing more products like it in the future. No comment was made on the size of the initial or second print run.

I feel it is dying fast but for a while there have been less visitors during weekends. Activity is typically on monday-Thursday. Most likely due to people being bored at work.

It is definitely less active of late. By the way, how many bulk rares do you have now? I would love to trade for your power but I don't have enough bulk rares :P.

Not that I was largely active but life has been more important then cardboard the last few months.Sold a house bought 14 acres to start a Christmas tree farm got engaged getting read to quit my real job to launch my own woodworking business. I have some time now back in April I had about 50k cards listed on tcgplayer mostly uncommon/commons but a lot of $1-$5 cards and now I'm trying to figure out the best way to check all the prices as I had to put it on vacation mode for 3-4 months. Is it best to just turn it back on and run with the old prices updating them when I notice a difference or just empty the whole list and start over? Also does anyone know if Kuleron is still active? I bought a bunch of cards from them, and they shipped me some extra stuff they needed me to store for them till they came back the to US. I've messaged them here and email but have gotten no response. I've had the cards for 2-3 months now.
