In the article where the lands were spoiled for m15 WOTC strongly suggests two things. 1. There is a full cycle of 10 "dual" lands in khans (important for block play) 2. The lands in khans are different from the lands in M15 I saw some speculation on other websites that Khans would be a wedge block. I hope that Sam Stoddard specifically calling them dual lands will quiet that down.

I see an Asian language for the card types. Just another bug for the new format

I would imagine that any reprinted lands in Khans will be something splashy, completing the cycle of painlands won't help the set sell at all. Maybe we'll see a Future-Sighted land that hasn't been expanded into a cycle yet. A Nimbus Maze or Horizon Canopy cycle would definitely be splashy. __________________ The Best Thing About EDH: "It’s like poker night, but nerdier." -David Schreiner

I'm going to guess no on horizon canopy cycle unless that cycle isn't "draw a card". UB does not need a land that cycles...nor does UW. Grove cycle actually seems viable to be honest. Allied grove cycle? Edit: Anyone play mtg in houston by chance?

Do you mean a 'Grove of the Burnwillows'? My first thought on that was 'ugh, that'd be terrible, giving my opponents life.' But then I thought of my Marchesa deck, how that sort of cycle would complement her strategy nicely. __________________ The Best Thing About EDH: "It’s like poker night, but nerdier." -David Schreiner

This beta client for MTGO is unbelievably inferior to the previous.edit: Not all of the information is available in convenient locations as it used to be. I cannot believe how many resources they have expended putting this POS together. If they want to drive people away from Magic Online this is certainly a step in the right direction.

Guy plays a M15 card on Cocktrice. I get berated because of it because I asked what it was. It's not legal in any format yet. But, of course because he downloaded it is.

Did he title the game for "post-M15" or "with M15"? That sort of thing isn't uncommon. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. Say it like you mean or STFU." -rockondonMy Sale Thread

I cant even run the beta on my computer for more than 5 minutes. It just freezes. Now I legitimately need to get a new computer just to run a worse version of MTGO. If I was a gamer who would eventually upgrade my computer, not a big deal. But I'm not.

After the frustration I experienced yesterday, I decided I would stop drafting on mtgo until I find they have remedied the issues. So I downloaded duels 2015 for the iPad. It was free and I own the 2014 version complete with the expansion. At first the 2014 version ran OK but then it started crashing all the time, so I stopped playing it. Fast forward to today and I thought things may have changed. Not so. I made it through the tutorial in 2015 before then game decided to crash multiple times in the first couple of turns. The buggy execution makes me think this is more a problem of WotC not offering competitive enough salaries in digital plafrom development, resulting in inferior product.

I played in a 2HG prerelease event near a friend's house that had all sorts of problems.Players were opening packs before everybody got their cards. Eventually the clerk made an announcement that we could open the packs, but there were still some teams waiting to pick theirs up. Players and shop clerk were swearing at each other. Clerk swore at everybody when making announcements. Our opponents team-name in the second round was a racial slur During a third round game two players practically got in a fight when a spectator started commenting on the match and wouldn't leave - the store clerk didn't even get out of his chair or say a word. (No judge around as far as I could tell). During the fourth round a team a table next to us offered to concede for packs. They openly discussed it for about a minute. No game officially went to time even though multiple rounds were over an hour You can bet I'm never going back there again. Is there a way to report a store like this. They shouldn't be allowed to host sanctioned events.

Been seeing this crap way to much. Had to play against a team named "Cake Ache Hey" Spelled that way. If this is the new norm I don't think I wanna play anymore.

While you *don't have any obligation to inform the TO first, it would have been good form to let them know that this was a little too relaxed for an official event before deciding to report them. They should know better, but they might have felt everyone was enjoying themselves more with the even being run so relaxed. That said, if you find a way to report them, they were still asking for it. *Edited to add the word that should have been obvious but apparently wasnt

Uh hell no? The sort of stuff he noted shouldn't even happen. Period. He has absolutely no obligation to tell them a damn thing especially if it's so pervasive. That's a total failure on the TO's part. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. In what world is a store owner/person running the event ignorant enough to allow this?

Possibly this one. I have no idea what it might mean. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gook this is the team name that I had to play against.

looks like my grammar was screwed up, but the spirit of the sentence should have gotten you to what my point was. *while you don't have any obligation

I don't want to contact them about it because I would probably just be cursed at.
