I'm glad I'm the LGS's T.O. and will have access to the promo one :P and trade for the 3 others among players.

aethertech Member	posted July 04, 2017 07:02 PM There are a few EDH cards, a few cards for cube, and a few "meh" and "maybe's" for standard and modern. Pretty lackluster set. The biggest things to me, are the The Gods, both new Nicol Bolas, Endless Sands for Hazezon and Ulamog, Scavenger Grounds for Ulamog, and the green spell that grabs TWO lands. Many copies of that.

aethertech Member	posted July 11, 2017 08:56 PM Just got done going 2-0 in a Cube Draft, CUSTOM STAR WARS cube. 5 Color, HOT GARBAGIO Deck. No instants. No sorceries. No enchantments. No planeswalkers. 5 mana-rocks (half-signets) 6 fetches 2 etb tapped dual lands with etb mana of a third color. 2 of each basic. 22 creatures of sweet attrition control deliciousness.

I saw some of the set....hard to judge but they BETTER make good cards in the other half of the set bc what I saw, while looking fun, didnt look good(playability wise) for constructed.

It started with return to ravnica, and since then its' been a never ending stream of sets were only one or two cards at most really stand out for me (as an EDH player.) With some sets having zero cards that I want - and I've got EDH decks covering the length of the spectrum of casual to competitive,in all the colors and combinations. HOU is the first set I'm kinda excited for in a long time (because of the green Hour card; and the 3 Insect Gods for my Grixis Deck.)

mm1983 Member	posted July 19, 2017 05:21 AM Old cards only get older so they will continue to rise just due to age. I would say Mana Vault has doubled in price recently because of the Mana Vault Invention being what it is and most people just want the cheapest copy of a card to play with which makes for increased demand as well.
