So, to start this topic.Starting a store, looking at 2500 sq ft. Is that A)reasonable to seat 75-100 people and B) Can be gotten for like $2000-$2200 per month in rent?

You're talking about the equivalent space of 50' x 50'that should be plenty of space, depending on the layout. As for rent, no clue, depends on the area, city, etc.. __________________ Joz - can we ban Leshrac for not fixing the Chrome PM issue?Gunslinga - If I thought it would help, and if I could, I would.

@Stu55 :2500 sq ft. total space. you need at least 1000 sq ft to display stuff + your counter/fridge/microwave (you gotta sell pizza pop and soft drinks/water bottles... it's like 500% profit) so that leaves you with 1500 sq ft. You need 150 sq ft for a table of 8 players with 8 chairs (cal: 30 inches x 96 inches table, add 48 inches (space the players needs to sit and get up on both sides) gives yu 147 sq ft. Add another aprox. 3 sq ft so that the players don't push the other dude sitting in his back. 150 sq ft divided by 8 = 18.75 sg ft needed per player. So, 18.75 x 75 = 1406.25 sq ft, you still have 94.75 sq ft loose for a path to the W.C. Also it's usually 1$ to 2$ / sq ft to rent a decent place for a store in the center of a city. So the place you want is fairly cheap IMHO Edit: I'm a graduated ''dessinateur de bātiment'' (I draw construction plans for houses/commercial buildings) so I can set up your tables rough displays and counters in a sketch if you give me the exact layout of the walls and distance + dimensions of the doors/windows. Also, if you have the patience, lmk the distance of each electrical sockets (makes it easier to know WHERE to place things :P).

So discussing rules and stuff is not allowed in the other post, I'll ask here...If I make the statement "Rainbows are Gay", would that be unacceptable? I mean, I'm not using Gay as a derogatory term. Wikipedia informs me that rainbows have been used "as a symbol of gay pride and LGBT social movements since the 1970s". Thanks!

Thanks for the help, I am pretty good with spacial and placement to maximize area usage. It was more the cost that I was interested in and people giving an idea. One more question for help, anyone good with resumes care to give mine a look over and see if it is decent, wondering if it is that and not my actual skills that causing the job hunting annoyance.

Since I've already been asked this once...I'm taking a week break from the internet (I'm at work, taking a break from work) - consider it a non-religious Lent for me. I'll officially be back on Monday, and the V5CB tournament will start up again. And I have more work stories. If I forget, remind me to talk about CAPS LOCK co-workers and exploding bosses. Oh, and the "service engine light" on my car went on the other day. My manifold is cracked and needs to be completely replaced. Also, there are three other things that need to be fixed. It's far cheaper than buying a new car and probably most used cars, but it's still expensive. I figure that if I replace all the times I eat at a restaurant (fast food or "slow" food) with eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I can pay for the repairs before... oh, that's not going to work. I need to sell a bunch of Magic cards, and possibly an internal organ. Meanwhile, I walked almost 20K steps yesterday and I'm going to come close to meeting it again today. Yep, I *walked* to work today. __________________ There are two rules for success: 1. Don't tell all you know.

Ok- posting this thru cell phone is difficult. so i have to be short & felt this didnt derserve a thread of its own. my question is this: how can i rebuild my collection to it once was without shelling out thousands of dollars? my h/w list gets no replies, and no interest from trade offers i make. im only able to do small deals ($5 or so) and would to start massive trading again. (5 to 10 trades a week sounds nice.) i dont want to pull from my fave artist collection (who wants a taiga or savannah? lol) but dont also want to rip/shread my decks for less worthy cards (i.e. trade away my 4x Metalworkers for a bunch of $2 rares.). suggestions? help? hell, pm me ur cell phone # and ill discuss this for hours w/ ya! They put up an incredible show. They are fantastic performers, Paul Stanley especially, and you can really tell that they have performed a million times because they have it down pat. It was expensive though, $157 for the seat that I was in, but I grew up listening to them and it would have been criminal to have them come to my little town of ~80,000 and I miss the opportunity to go. __________________ |My Angels~My P9 l""|"\__, |~~My #1 Angel~~l'_|'_|_|) |(@)(@)""***|(@)(@)**|(@)
