I thought it was a pretty good game. SF's clock management could have been better, I think. Overall I was pretty entertained by the radio broadcast. Glad of wasn't a blowout.__________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

I felt like if you ever wanted to make a real case that the NFL fixes games look no further than this Superbowl.Dominant Ravens, "blackout", 49ers come storming back, Ravens D and Ray Lewis make a goal line stance.....It was almost too predicable while watching. Take the safety to push on a lot of bets..... I know it sounds silly, but like I said, you could really make a case out of this game.

While I don't believe that it's rigged, I had the exact same sentiment with the group I was watching last night. Except it was more in the form of "oh goody, I get to watch crazy people talk about how pro sports are rigged with extra zest for the next week or two."Hell of a game though, coming from someone with no real emotional investment in either team. __________________ Forum signatures: all the wisdom of a cereal box with none of the sugar! Might as well think all sports where there is gambling are fixed. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1326579/380-matches-suspect-in-european-fixing-probe?cc=5901

That's exactly why I really hated this Super Bowl. Now I have to listen to weeks of conspiracy, refs, and fixing when it was actually a decent game to watch. What will get lost is just how good Kapernick will be someday. That kid made 2 bad throws. Other than that he was the most dominant player on the field. Flacco looked good but the dimes Kapernick was throwing and how he can run like a deer makes him seem unstoppable in the forseeable future.

I agree. Some of those throws that Kapernick was making, made me sit up and say In other 'news' ~MM __________________ Blah, blah, blah werewolf. Smackity-smack not a werewolf. Suspicious of this fruit loop. My vote this round will be for Player X.New keeper of the Logout button

Well now it's time to look forward to March 12th. Periodically check the nfl network/espn to see if anyone noticeable has been cut. Or anyone snazzy has been picked up off the waiver wire. Especially when you are a Giants/Ravens fan and are watching your teams get gutted like pigs.

Does it count as being gutted when they're just allowing their free agents to walk away?

The team is being gutted from my perspective because I'm watching it get torn apart. The management may be the one holding the cleaver...

It took me three years to get over Darren Sharper, five to get over Longwell. I will never forgive them for the man known as Judas Favre. Now Jennings? The Old Spice Kalamazoo Cheesehead douche bag? How the hell am I supposed to be happy if he succeeds? Am I honestly going to root for him to win the game? Absolutely not. Unless he single-handedly beats the Packers twice a year and then disappears, I hope he gets pregnant and the Vikes can void his contract.Does Pluto befriend astronomers? Do non-whites pal around with Nazi's? Do cells have a few drinks with cancer? NO NO NO Will I ever root for Jennings? NOOOOOOO ARGGGGGGHHHHHH :hate:
