Um, I think Roger Goodell will want a word with him first...If his problem occured during the lockout, then he is fine (see Kenny Brit). Otherwise, rut roh raggy. Curious how long the suspension will be. ~Revenger

you know what percentage of NFL contracts are played out 100% at their original value? I'd say less than 5%

Another quick note on that Vick contract, that 6th year actually falls OFF the contract if Vick participates in 35% of the snaps in any one year. So barring any catastrophic injury its really a 5 year $81M contract. The extra year was just tacked on because Vick's agent (and possibly even the Eagles) wanted to reach that oh so media friendly round $100M.Also, Vick is only guaranteed $35.5M. I guess rounding up is allowed now. It happens with all the big contracts but it really shouldn't. It makes it seem like Vick will be swimming in money Scrooge McDuck style when in actuality he'll probably make less than Alfonso Soriano over the next 3 years. __________________ PMs don't work in Chrome or Firefox 4.0+, see HERE for work arounds.

Jets make an awesome comeback having Dallas lose their 1st game EVER when winning by 14 or more pts in the 4th quarter (243-1-1)No one has anything to say about week 1? Raven beat the Steelers. Bills blow up on the Chiefs. The Manning-less Colts get destroyed. Eli Manning...still sucks ~MM __________________ I am MeddlingMage...YOUR Motl Survivor 11 Champion, 2007 Captain N award winner, 2010 Marlboro award winner, and 2011 Champion Tournament Pick'em MOTL NCAA Bracket Challenge winner!CM Punk "OMG Kevin Nash WTF, thought he was dead, LOL" New keeper of the Logout button

Ravens crushed vaunted Steeler D. But, that Steller Steeler D will bounce back. I have not a clue what happened with the Chiefs. Cam Newton is not all that, as they are making him out to be. He played against 2 Arizona rookie corners with a average/below average pass rush. He is not gonna be all that great when facing vet cb's, or a pass rush that lays him on his back 3 or 4 times a game. He'll come back down to earth when facing a Baltimore or Steeler D. Oh Yes he will. ~Revenger __________________ Your 2008 and 2010 Motl Siskel & Ebert award winner! Need a 3rd party trader? I'm available! Email me if interested.

I don't care one way or the other on Newton (or Tebow for that matter), but a lot of QBs struggle with the Ravens or Steelers D. At least he took advantage of cruddy DBs. Better than the alternative of being awful against awful. __________________ PMs don't work in Chrome or Firefox 4.0+, see HERE for work arounds.

LOL at Denver winning the West, Tennessee winning the South, and LOL that you don't have the Bears winning their division.

Wait, what? I'm with you on Denver and Tennessee but taking the Packers over the Bears for the NFC North seems pretty fine to me. __________________ PMs don't work in Chrome or Firefox 4.0+, see HERE for work arounds.

I mean, I guess the Packers aren't a bad choice, but don't let their first game fool you. The Bears are def gonna give them a run for their money, and have my vote to win the division.

Cardinals were robbed. I don't care what anyone says, "gave himself up" my ass! He stumbled. He fumbled. Should have been Cards ball and they could/would have run out the clock. But it's the Giants. Sheesh. Even the analysts and commentors have said bad call. Enough ranting bout a bad ref call, Lions 4 and 0? Has hell froze over? Had a feeling the Eagles were overrated. __________________ Your 2008 and 2010 Motl Siskel & Ebert award winner! I'm available for all your third party needs.
