As sad as that would make me, I would be happy to see that it was guaranteed that a former Duck, either LMJ or Ngata, would be getting a Super Bowl ring!

I'm hoping for the reverse...
Superbowl will be Patriots vs. Falcons, and I think the Patriots win this one.

What he said, but instead, Tony Gonzalez dunks his way into retirement and the Falcons win it all the first year they win AT all (in however many years)

I'd be okay with that as well, as much as I'd hate to see the Patriots run out of gas in yet another Superbowl. What the hell are they, the Bills?

Ray Lewis will be tackling somebody on February 3, preferably on a football field during the Superbowl.

As long as the Patriots don't win the SB, I really don't care what happens this postseason.

Exactly. They equal a huge ? right now. I'm curious to see if Kelly tries to run the Ducks offense in the pros, and if so if it can work at all. It seems that it's fine against college teams that don't see it much, but with pro-level defenses, I'm just not really sure it will see much success after the first couple games of it. If Stanford can shut them down, even the bad NFL teams should be able to. I just don't know if the Oregon-Stanford game was a fluke or not.

This is the first Super Bowl that I have ever experienced where I would be absolutely happy if either team wins. Even though the Vikes lost long ago, this has been a terrific year.

Go banana!

We had a season-long team pool, me and 3 friends. Everyone chucks $X, and then you have a snake-style draft. After the season, the person whose 8 teams get the most wins get half the pot, and the person who has the Superbowl winner gets the other half.

We decided to do this on a whim while out for wings one evening, and decided the draft order would be the order they brought us our food in. Also used no analysis whatsoever, went entirely from our memories.

I got the 4th/5th turn. The draft order:
1) DET (he still hasn't lived this down), 2) GB, 3) NE, 4) SF & 5) BAL.
Long story short: don't care; I cashed out either way.

It's the day of the Super Bowl and this hasn't been commented on in over a week? For shame.

Here are my thoughts on the actual Super Bowl itself.

- If either team gets to 25 rushing attempts, that team will win.
- If Colin Kaepernick has 3x the total yards as Ray Rice, the 49ers will win.
- If Baltimore does not commit a turnover, or go +2 or better in the turnover margin, they will win.
- If Baltimore wins, the MVP will be Ray Lewis or Joe Flacco
- If SF wins the MVP will be Patrick Willis or Kaepernick.
- If there's a beagle in it, I will root for it in the Puppy Bowl.

If none of those things happen, I say Baltimore 27, SF 24, with Former Texas Great Justin Tucker hitting a 40+ yard field goal in the last minute.
