It was worse last year because you had all the people who were to lazy (smart) to come out for the morning sells coming out right after they ate. It was a terrible terrible thing and I'm only doing Cyber Monday now. I just finished my offline xmas shopping yesterday so not to fight anyone.

Sidenote. I'd probably pay the little extra and do gamestop instead. Seems like less of a hassle and they had dedicated lines last year.

is there a reason you're after a laptop specifically? a desktop will run much better for a lower cost.

Depends entirely on your budget. I actually use my work laptop, and there's not a game that's been made (at least that I've found) that requires as many resources as Autodesk Inventor running a CFD module. It's a Dell mobile workstation M6700 fully loaded, but was about $4k to build. If you're also planning to do engineering work on it though, it may be worthwhile. If just gaming though, probably something designed for that like Alienware.

I just plan on traveling for my next job and it keeps me closer to my friends as they sprawl out. I need a new laptop anyways so it made sense to get a gaming laptop. I know my monster rig at home will always trump it but I need the portability.

I read that BTA thread before Jazz got to it and I said exactly the same thing that Jazz wrote when she closed it.

He put up some crappy point based trade list, and somebody put it on the GD for ridicule. Then he got ridiculed for it. He found out and started popping off about people being jerks, just like any new member who finds out he's being hazed, and swore too much, yelled at the mods. Basically trolled out for being naive.

He also valued Spiritmongers way too high.

I saw the line used by Nderdog to close the depression post and it really made my day! So much so that I had to immortalize it in my signature!!

It made me laugh out load long and hard!
