hilikuS Member	posted October 13, 2015 06:48 AM I don't turn the lights on all that often at home when I'm just chillin'. So I'm used to walking around in the dark. I figure I know this place well enough not to stub my toe when I navigate it, so I guess I'll be here well after the lights go out .

They were in the World Series last year and made it very competitive drawing respect from the Giants and even their fans. Many counted them out this year but that made no sense since they had basically the same core players and made some of the best trades at the deadline adding Johnny Cueto, Ben Zobrist and Kendrys Morales to an already excellent roster. I think they'll have some trouble getting past the Blue Jays but if they do, they only have to worry about a 26 year old movie prediction. I think they beat either National league team. hilikuS Member	posted October 16, 2015 08:33 AM The Tigers were the favorites in the AL Central if not Kansas City. KC plays the best baseball of any of the AL teams, which always bodes well for the playoffs. The teams that try to hit a ton of HRs usually succumb to good pitching because they can't manufacture runs. The Royals can do just about everything offensively. With all the days off, you're pretty much aces up most of the time, and all the best relievers are fresh. Money ball tries to beat up on the underbelly of your rotation, but those guys just don't get to play in the playoffs. See also the A's track record in division series. About a month ago, stupid punks in our neighborhood came and slashed the tires on 6 vehicles in our parking lot. 2 of the vehicles were mine. :-\ Sucked. Now my van is overheating, and I'm hoping that it had just needed radiator fluid, but I have to go and get it inspected anyways by the end of this month. Oh, and Hi everyone! It's been happening in our complex for at least the past six months or so. And our building owners or whatever don't really seem to care, at all. I mean, those 2 tires cost me nearly $300 to replace. I don't know what I'm going to do if it should happen again. On a more positive note, I should be getting my Associates Degree next semester! Provided I can handle the last three classes that I need as well as working. Ok, well, I hadn't been looking for a super long time, but I was getting kind of discouraged, because finding work had always been so easy for me. Now it's time to get my wife's car paid off! That will get us out from under about $225 in bills every month between the car payment and full coverage insurance. That's going to be a priority since this is going to be temp to hire.
