Good stuff. I'm currently re-reading Revolutionary Nonviolence, by Dave Dellinger. I just finished Limbo, by Aldous Huxley.

I am currently reading: Stephen King's "IT" (Still scares me at the age of 20, not while reading it as much, just when I'm around the house at night) Paradise Lost - John Milton The Sword of Shannara Trilogy - Terry Brooks A Song of Ice and Fire - George R R Martin

On the inside jacket of The Da Vinci Code the bold letters spell something...don't remember what. I have to read The Origin of Species for school. It's a pretty slow read even though I'm a pretty fast reader. Still good though

I stopped reading actual books when they horribly horribly butchered the dragonlance series.....Anyways I am reading graphic novels now (don't have time to buy the individuals.... plus some aren't released as individuals, like the following) , my favorite (current...this fluxuates a lot) is Superman: Red Son (I'm not exactly sure, wish my friend would return my books....) Anyways its what the world will be if Superman had arrived on Earth a few hours earlier and landed in Russia. Very Very VERY good.

I really like how he tied the plot into Salem's Lot, Hearts in Atlantis, and the Stand. All hail the crimson king! Besides It, I recently read Tales of H.P. Lovecraft (cool, creepy, kind of hard reading) At the thrift shop yesterday, I got these books for $.10 each- Orn- Piers Anthony Planet of Twilight- Barbara Hambley (A STAR WARS book ) I think I'll start with the star wars book. Right now. __________________ I don't believe in hologramsFor I am the FRIZZLE FRY

I read that a month or two ago...and thought it wasn't that good, but pretty cool in its own way. Do you like it? Still reading Les Misérables..1300 pages of this type of writing takes a while. (English) __________________ Rest in peace, Ari.The Poetry Post

Thus far, yes. Because of the way it ties in to the philosophy I've learned thus far. And... well, I won't read it to analyze it quite yet. The first reading will be solely for pleasure. A question, though. Did it make you believe in God?
I have the urge to re-read A Clockwork Orange __________________ Evil-doers! Cower in fright for I am the one, the only... um. Psst! Matt! What was that name again? Whale Watcher Hail! to Megan and Astra RIP-Ari Goas, turk, kluks, myk, stat, thesi, nik,rj,&wild: 666 cRüE! Member of MOTLCSA

Nope. Or..I'm no atheist, but this book didn't suddenly make me believe in God more than before, so to speak. __________________ Rest in peace, Ari.The Poetry Post

Reading "Billy Budd" by Herman Melville as a requirement for my junior honors English class, and frankly, it sucks severely. I'm sure there's a deep meaning beneath the pages and pages of useless detail, but I haven't had time to find it yet.__________________ Participant in the 9:36 threadNHL Hockey Keep a great thing alive-Sign your toploaders MSN: you_rurned_it@hotmail.com AIM:AndrewRogueL

Oh wow, I was just thinking about posting on here about having read the very same book the other day! I too read it in about a day, very great read! Nick, may I also suggest reading "Neuromacer" by William Gibson, another great classic( mid 80s) sci-fi novel, took me 2 days to read that one. --Evil EDIT: I am currently reading another one by Philip K. Dick called "The Man in the High Castle". This one is a story about the world as it would exist if the US lost WWII and is now occupied by Germany and Japan. And for a more emotional read, try "On the Beach" by Nevil Shute. Story about the last days of humans on Earth after a nuclear war. Very good book(though not sci-fi). __________________ There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary and those who don't.An important message from MOTL BTA council thingamabob: Mega ripper on the loose-- Check this info if you're trading with someone from Repentigny Canada!

I finished Les Misérables a week or two ago, after a long time of that. I must say it's one of the most awesome books I've ever read - REALLY awesome. Now I'm into 'Love in times of cholera' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. So far it's pretty cool.__________________ Rest in peace, Ari.The Poetry Post
