My draft deck is going to suck...But I'm going to go 3-0 in the first three matches, get to the tie breaker final and go 3-0 for those two matches  Like it always does.... I'm the one person to get 2-0, 2-0, 2-0...and then I have to up agianst some guy that went 2-1, 2-1, 2-1? bullogney.

i am gonna try mirran and phyrexia pending product availability. last time i drove there and they ran out of stuff for 2ndary tournies and i was bit ****ed... i think bottom line is to have fun - sure we all want awesome stuff but enjoying the game should come first

Bad draft...Chose Mirrian Opened:
3 black cards (total)
6 blue (total)
7 red (total...no burn; and nothing worth playing)
12 or so green
lots of artifact
sand lots of white. What was the one problem? No Removal (just spine and divine offering, out of that total of 6 packs)
And only the following weenies:
1 Leonin Sky Hunter
2 Acorder Paladin
2 Copperhorn Scout
1 Glint Hawk Idol..
1 Glimmerpoint Stag and a hole ton of 5-7CMC faties...
Result: bad draft for me...was never able to get anything out fast enough because my draft suckkkked. Stuff going into my EDH; or finding its way into casual decks: ONE Goblin Wardriver (need 3x..)
2 Infiltration Lens
1 Foil Spine of Ish Sah
1 Myr Turbine
1 Engulfing Slagwurm
1 Thropter Assembly (really good card advantage..once I played it...once)
1 Titan Forge (fun casual with Coretapper and that new blue vedelkan)

1 Darkslick Shores BAD. DRAFT. And btw.. 0-2; 1-2, 2-0 and then dropped out and gave the opponent the match and he brought me a Zendikar booster (Magosi) which I gave him since it sucked too. Had to leave anyway though and I missed the 4th round action, which was decidedly one sided i heard. bombs:
Acorder Paladin
Blight Mamba
Battle Pest (HUGE) One guy opened a Tezzeret, and two other guys opened both swords and a Hero of Bladehold

Sounds very similar to my SoM Prerelease Sealed pool. Had 4 Grasp of Darkness (one foil) and 3 of the 3/1 Infect guys. Stupid. __________________

Yesterday's event.Went Mirran, got my Mirran tramp stamp  . 4-0'd, and got 12 packs, opened all crap except for Mirran Crusader. Are there any other good rares in the set? All of mine were pretty crappy other than that.

Did reasonably well with Phyrexia in the sealed. My bomb was Massacre Wurm; didn't have removal except for sickness, but still went 4-1 with a solid infect deck for 3rd on tiebreakers (top 3 finished 4-1) and 6 packs. Opened Vatmother, Two Crusaders and some junk in the prize packs. Friend of mine that went with me lucked out and pulled two Trolls and a SoFF.__________________

Thanks, would have been ****ed if they put Green Sun's Zenith or Mirran Crusader in them since I pre-ordered them.

shimmer myrred totally blew - 0 removal. ended up going WB and went 2-1 then dropped. My deck was just not very good with 2 creature removals - one GFTT and instill infection and no arrest or grasp. I faced phy guy with Massacre wurm, vatmother,black sun, skithryx and i was like i am not gonna play final round and lose out. sealed 2- mirran

rare scars land sadly green pool was not very good and i was dissapointed i only had 5 total black cards and the other 3 were horrible and with 0 fetchers it was hard to justify splashing for the 2 black rares. White i had 2 arrests which was nice, red i had 3 burn the impures which was very nice. went 2-1 and had to leave. the 3rd round i lost the guy had a Spiraling duelist with sword of FF and a darksteel plate - i couldnt touch her since i had no artifact removal at all to get rid of the sword... I did play phrexia later that day and had an OK pool - only bomb rare was the black crusader and the deck was not even full infect - only 10 guys...somehow i got 3-0-1 after beating a guy with carnifex demon, indomitable archangel, decimator web, and 2 morbid plunders which he used to bring back 2 creatures including his corpse cur which he used twice to bring back 2 more....
