Sovarius Member	posted January 20, 2011 05:08 PM I'm not so much as arguing as i am just making a point. It does sounds fake though. And i don't know what Orb is but take the comment for what it's worth. Has anyone decided for sure what faction they're taking? Phyrexia has so many more better cards. Pierce Strider, Phyrexian Rager, Phyrexian Crusader, Phyrexian Rebirth, Viridian Corrupter, Glissa the Traitor, Blightsteel Colossus (almost certainly not going to bother with that in T2 though), Phyrexian Revoker. I really dislike infect but they've got some really strong cards. Mirrans have Hero of Bladehold, an extra 7 power turn 5 from her and her cronies alone. Shimmer Myr, and a couple others but nothing as impressive as Phyrexian's collection. Mitotic Manipulation is now one of my favorite cards, but probably not going to be epic in draft.

I don't actually care enough whether it's a real card or not to bother looking it up, i just remarked it /could/ be a fake since there was already another. I said the name was stupid and sounded fake, not that i deny it exists.

Sovarius Member	posted January 20, 2011 07:12 PM Yea, i hate infect pretty much, but it's got some really good things coming. As it is now, no one plays infect at my local tourneys. Or artifacts, strangely enough. Hopefully both that will change because some really awesome things are coming.

daner Member	posted January 20, 2011 10:46 PM Just when you thought it was safe to choose the other faction bc of SOFF, Phyrexia has to go out and get Green Shatterstorm. So far it's 2xWrath's, Shatterstorm(which is basically wrath #3) and all the dumb un/commons vs SOFF, Red Wrath, and the Troll. I know it's still early but it's still heavily tilted in Phyrexia's Faction. [Edited 1 times, lastly by daner on January 20, 2011]

A Mirran Plains, a Phyrexian Plains, a Mirran Island, a Phyrexian Island, etc. Each land with a different art gets it's own Collector's number so the set size is officially listed at 155 unique cards. Ninja Edit: It also doesn't mean they took cards out of the set. Shards block went 249/145/145 and Zendikar block went 249/145/248 so it looks like they've settled on 248-249ish (including 20 basics) for large sets and 145 (not including basics) for small sets. shaselai Member	posted January 21, 2011 10:20 AM i think for Sealed it will be a tough call to go phyrexia or mirrodin if it is a 3 (scars) + 3 (mbs). scars has a lot more mirrodin stuff than phyrexia and if one goes with mirr boosters it could be a very strong metalcraft deck. Infect is certainly getting a boost from Phyrexia packs but i think it is more dependent on the infect draws from the scars packs. I suppose those chasing the expensive cards could try go either way but if for pure competition it is a tough call. I think I will go with Phyrexia still due to so much artifact hate now.

But on the other hand with battle cry guys (all mirrodin i believe) with metalcraft synergy the damage can pile on pretty quick. Plus infect is still a bit slower and creatures are weaker as well (except for the bombs). I used to draft infect a lot but lost more than won...
