If you don't want to sell to her, just put her on your blocked bidders list.

But, they aren't yours once she buys them...? I don't understand the whole sentiment of 'ruining' Magic cards by altering them, if people are so concerned with preserving the integrity of the original cards, why are you selling them? Why do you care who ends up with them

I don't really care that much, because she does bid the highest. I'm just not sure why some people pay 4x the value of a card for some of the work she does.

Because some people have different aesthetic values than you do? I personally think alters are pretty cool for the most part, though I don't really like the idea of putting a bunch of anime girls on basic lands (which seems to be a current trend). Some people think getting cards signed is for suckers. Then you have people like Markers and Thanos who are hardcore auto collectors that (to the best of my knowledge) despise alters that aren't done by the artist. In the end, it's all about your aesthetic values. *gets off soapbox*

I admit, that I don't favor some of cardkitty's work, some of it is truly fantastic. As stab said, its personal preference. the frameless Lotus Petal and Bitterblosom are absolutely fantastic works. partial dark ritual and scion of oona are also very good. and the borderless Baron Sengir is quite litteraly drool worthy.

Whats the most broken (fully powered) dark ritual based combo deck in vintage? There is a local store holding a vintage tournament Sunday. I was told I need to come and show the players what vintage actually is and what broken cards can do. I assume there will be some jank creature decks mostly. Is some draw 7 list good? or ANT? I haven't looked at lists in forever. I know a vintage control deck would likely do poorly since the typical lists have few ways of dealing with creatures.

If anybody ever comes across someone who has about 30x of each Zendikar basic land, and are selling it for bulk prices..(as in less than 0.10 USD LMK, I want some. I am in no hurry and have a vast amount of M10 basics that suffice my needs. but hopefully they'll go down someday

Hey, if it's not power-to-pack then get the heck out of here! In all seriousness, I'm happy for you man . I remember when I traded for my first Lotus waaaay back in the day. It cost me a ton of in print Revised staples (Serras, Shivans, Assassins etc.). It was a huge trade up in which I was trading him double the value of the Lotus (which was going for about $100 at the time iirc)with the in print staples. It hurt my collection a ton overall, but was well worth it for both of us. I know deals look much different now but how did it shake out? I'm always interested in hearing about peoples trades for power (as long as they don't involve some sort of silly pack-to-power foolishness).

MY1x Cold Eyed Selkie 2x Balance 3x Wrath of God Primeval Titan Oath of Druids 2x Kjeldoran Outpost Force of Will x3 ex Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary x5 ex to nm Gaea's Cradle Foil Thrun, The Last Troll Sword of Feast and Famine x2 Fauna Shaman x3 Lotus Cobra x2 (spanish) Orim's Chant Abeyance x4 Lake of the Dead ex His Mox Emerald (UNL) Came out to about 350 on my side, but since only the Fow and the Cradle are hard to replace I don't think it was a bad trade at all.

That's a borderline brag post.

It is if the Emerald is mint. If it's F/EX, it's fairly even considering the trading up factor. If it's VG or worse, it's in the other person's favor.__________________ Ebay problems? File a claim, leave a neg, buy on MOTL.

They're likely to ever only go up, unless they print lots of full-art basic lands in future sets.
