Before i heard of cube i came up with the idea of making my own card pool, with the limitation that there would only be 2 copies of any given card. I also imagined that i would shuffle commons and uncommons into 14 card packs and add one rare each. And, i thought starting with 30 life might be interesting. And before i heard of EDH i thought a 100 card highlander with 30 life. __________________ If you can make/print proxies, i will trade for them. Also looking for Microprose MTG computer game. Will trade for that or consider buying for cheap. Please pm

I'm checking my mail for cards and other than my package from the guy in the BTA only 1 of them i didn't purchase/trade for in March. Ugh! Skwirlnutz Member	posted March 10, 2011 09:49 PM Well by the looks of it we are getting a Gideon and Sorin reprint in M12 instead of Ajani and Liliana. Lets just hope for Jace 2.0, Chandra 2.0 and maybe a new Garruk. All in all I love how Garruk is. (I want a G/B Garruk!) IMHO Theyre cutting them because the market is flooded with them so its time to print something new. If they keep up the Lorwyn 5 then soon Ajani will be a $1.00 rare. If so, gota say I'm happy. Two valuable walkers (Gideon/Jace), two playable walkers (Sorrin/Garruk) and if Chandra 2.0 is in with new art great, current art sucks IMHO....

caquaa Member	posted March 11, 2011 02:33 AM I think jace 2.0 is too format dominating to come back. You have your jace decks, and your decks where you can't afford jace. Its like reprinting goyf, it would be nice, but shouldn't happen. Jace1.0 has the correct power levels to be reprinted.
stab107 Member	posted March 11, 2011 03:49 AM While it certainly would be nice for the pocketbook to see Jace 2.0 reprinted, I can't see them doing it in a Core Set. Think about it for a second. Each color has Planeswalkers. Each 'walker represents their respective slice of the color pie. Everything here is pretty balanced, pretty even. But if blue has Jace 2.0 new players are going to think blue is somehow different or better than the others. They just wouldn't do that in a core set. It doesn't make any sense at all. Neat to see that Sorin might replace Liliana. I still like Liliana better but he's a strong choice as a replacement for a year or two. Maybe they will make a new Chandra because the other two pretty much suck :/.

The issue I have is when wizards makes cards specifically for commander, they do it wrong. No one likes playing w/ sorin set you to 10, eldrazi, or a successful praetor's council. Maybe if this was some super competitive format, but its not supposed to be. Give us more 6-7 mana wraths that do something else (like phyrexian rebirth, marshall's coup, austere command, or decree of pain). Big odd cards are what play well in this format.

I don't see every deck splashing blue to play Jace like happened with Tarmogoyf. A year ago it was Baneslayer Angel and that didn't keep WOTC from reprinting it. If you are playing blue, you play Jace, if not you don't care about Jace. Reprinting him will help WOTC sell a lot of M12.

The one standing up on the left looks really strange. The picture looks fine at the bottom, then seems to warp toward the top. The borders at the top are all out of whack, but OK at the bottom.
