Sol Ring is finally going up. Probably means that its going to be harder to get the FBB one I want for EDH but at least I'm not in a hurry to get it.

Nev's disk has had way more printings than Sol Ring, though.

He's a hard worker, you gotta give him that. The disparity between his buy prices and sell prices is way too high for MOTL IMO, but he isn't nearly the worst of the 'buyers' on here, he doesn't use intimidation techniques and if you ignore him he gets the message unlike some others.

so im going to this smallish legacy turnament tomorrow.

have been playing junk recently, and always done good, 3-1, 3-1-1 and 4-1 being the worst results.

but im a bit bored with it.

what should i play?

i can build pretty much anything, and played lands, aeon bridge, sneakNtell, bant this year.

fresh ideas are welcomed.

I don't really play competitive legacy but what do you think of dredge or merfolk? I have been thinking of maybe soon trying to build either of those, they sound fun.

Eh, jshield's prices aren't bad. I've seen much, much worse.

And MOTL prices can be wonky anyway.

And, Stu, what do you pay for cards? I tend to go up to 95% of MOTL for staples, and 50% for chaff. Not many complaints, on the odd time I post a but list.

My fiancee is trying really hard to like Magic for my sake. Last week I beat her Vampires with Steel Infect, to which her response was "I don't like infect, it's like I only start with 10 life". That's a big step from "Ooh, I like the holograms!"

I went through the same thing with my last ex; she tried to get into magic; so I built her a little aggro black deck; she sucked at the game to start but got better quickly. But we broke up and I took my cards back. I'm not sure it helped our relationship; I think she just wanted to be the type of geek I was; instead of being what she was...but thats another story.
