They will still develop eventually even if you use sleeves.

But, do you do it in such a way to damage the cards? If I were to riffle shuffle, and I do not because mash shuffling accomplishes the same thing, I would minimally bend the corners while the two halves of the deck are adjacent on the table just to get the weave. I've seen to many exceedingly damaged cards to believe this is nothing more than a bad habit.

I'm officially permanently off Magic Online. I lost a match to a bugged card that caused the client to freeze and they refused to compensate me, because I had "won prizes". As in, I didn't ragequit. Then they stonewall me trying to get a hold of somebody who can make a real decision. On Monday, I'll call their bosses, because my journalist training comes to good use in these circumstances. I doubt I'll get anything. My account is officially now a "holding tank" where various t1 staples will sit dormant until they reach a high resale value.

Doesn't work that way...cards CAN and do get reprinted on MTGO, aside from LED And FoW, cards tend to drop. And I expect those to drop as well too.

Yup, I know. Most of the stuff I have is old stuff. Like LEDs and FOWs. Random foils and "good stuff" from MEs and mirage-urza. I usually keep my account pretty lean anyway. All those mirage tutors I bought for .5 years back are rather more now, for instance. But yeah, I'm not dropping another cent on this until they at least apologise, though at this point after having been passed around to four different idiots I'd demand rather more. The funny thing is that it costs them absolutely nothing to make good here.

I think the part being refered to is: "NOW I KNOW HE DID NO ART WORK FOR THIS SET BUT WITHOUT HIS ARTWORK AND HIS IDEAS THERE WOULD NOT BE MAGIC THE GATHERING AS IT IS TODAY, PLUS THIS WAS THE ONLY DECK THAT I HAD THAT WAS NOT RUINED AND IS IN MINT SHAPE BECAUSE I NO LONGER PLAY."aka, why have him sign it and why does this dude think this item has any value? Fire and lightning box set isn't worth a ton as they are easily still available.

Having someone sign something that they didn't do is really trashy, and I don't understand why Ed Beard would do that, considering all the noise he's made about people disrespecting artists in the past.__________________ Ebay problems? File a claim, leave a neg, buy on MOTL.

MTGO's compensation policy isn't to compensate the player as if they would have won the game/match the bug occurred in, their policy is to compensate the player as if the event where the bug occurred never happened. So if your prizes are above the entry cost, you are generally out of luck. In a hypothetical 4 ticket 10-7-3 sealed daily, a bug when you go 0-4 will get you your $28 bucks back, but will only get you $16 if you go 2-2, and you don't get anything if it happens when you already have 3 wins. I'm not defending the policy, but a lot of people don't know how it works, so I thought it would be helpful to post.

Another winning auction...http://cgi.ebay.com/4th-Edition-Brass-Man-Signed-Rush-No-Reserve-/130510195821?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e63038c6d It might actually be worth .50 cents if the sig was real...

I find it amazing how people think just because a card is signed it has that kind of inflated value. And as you pointed out, that sig is a fake. Kinda sad really.

What's up with everyone on this site trying to sell their Wastelands for more than SCG is charging? Or trying to sell their poor Wastelands for full price?

Probably because they see what they are selling on Ebay and they want the high end of that range. It looks like SCG (and T&T) decided to run up the price on these. They went from none to 140 overnight.

Well, good luck to them I guess. The only person I see at the moment selling for a reasonable price is Stu. Others are looking to get NM Retail prices on their played junk.

So what's new? I almost never buy off here because it is easy to buy cheaper elsewhere. I ran a buy on here for what I could pay on Ebay and all I got was offers for more. I just bought off Ebay.

It was just up until recently (SCG's buying spree) that I was able to find a lot of things I wanted at prices slightly cheaper than Feebay, which was awesome, but yeah, now it seems like their is little reason to buy on here. Very sad.
