Some people really need to get their mouths washed out with soap more often...
Buying art as an investment is stupid, the artist has to die to make it worth anything too. Also Even if he paints another one it won't be the same. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

Pretty sure it's only 1. I only see the ability to sanction 1 when logging in.

The tokens actually have the same CMC as the creature Splinter Twin is on.

This. There is the difference between a token created from an effect and a token of a copied creature. A token of a copied creature has the CMC of the original creature. A Saproling token created by Thallid has a CMC of 0.

Not necessarily. Such as a Thallid with Splinter Twin with Conspiracy in play naming Saproling. The rule is that CMC is zero for tokens unless there's something to indicate otherwise.

CMC of a copy of a creature is the same as the creature it's a copy of. It's a copiable quality.

Yeah, I was talking about a regular old Thallid, not some crazy combo that will never be played together. But could you elaborate on how this will affect the CMC of the tokens produced by the Splinter Twin'd Thallid? As I see it, the "Fungus Saproling" token from Splinter Twin will have a CMC of 1, but any Saproling tokens produced by that "Fungus Saproling" will still just be Saproling's with a CMC of 0.

Even if Ratchet Bomb hit tokens at 0, you can tap it down with deceiver exarch when you cast it EOT, then go unimpeded during your turn. In any case, tokens have CC 3 like people said so it's a moot point.

Why the **** can't people make fair offers? I've had my H/W list with 3 Splinter Twins for trade posted for about 5 hours and the only offers I've gotten so far are their <$10/slightly >$10 worth of cards my 3 Splinter Twins. Is checking prices before posting an offer really that hard?

Eh, didn't bother with the annoyance. Sold out for 4.50 each even though I know they're near 8-10 just so I can be done with this madness and get ready for buying them after rotation.

Who's exited for NPH and EDH!MEEEE!!! Also, NPH looks to be a fun set in general; lots of good quality cards, and only a few blatantly OP ones.

Why can't it be as bad exactly? Because it didn't happen to you?

I'm not joking. I had a cockatiel years ago that loved to chew on cardboard, paper, playing cards..etc. I didn't think she'd chew through a penny sleeve since she never has before, but she did. __________________ Bargain is not to powerful for EDH, EDH is to weak for Bargain!
