hmmm, Joz's was locked. On a Magic note...I'm dedicating my deck brainstorming time to finding a way to finally use the Nicol Bolas Planeswalker card I've had sitting in a binder for like 2 years. I think I've got a nice little EDH brew going with him. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

Its' my first attempt at building one and I'm gonna try Nebuchadnezzar as my commander. I'm making two interchangeable versions: one will be fun, and the other not so much.

I've did that many times in Zen Draft. with Zen it was great that drawing lands could win you games and not screw you.

I had the opposite problem with Zendikar. Apparently playing more lands snakebit me severely. __________________ Most References in Massachusetts 85th All-timeSupport my friend's store: http://www.tabletoparena.com

This made like..0 sense? You're going to sell them for what...$0.49? I'd hang onto them for now; they are going to be in some demand for the Exarch + twin combo. and it figures that some people are going to want them at $1 at least.

Yesterday I drafted a "few" times. I decided to try my luck with an 8-4, and lost... forget why, but I did. I was running low on tix/packs so I figured I'd go play some commander just cause. Well that didn't quite give me my fix that I needed, so I went and played an 8-4. I ended up drafting some U/G dinos/fliers/random deck and won the 8-4. So quit while ahead, right? I then proceed to go hop into a 4-3-2-2 since it was about to fire, and won with some random b/r removal deck. Well seems dumb to quit now, so I hop into another 4-3-2-2 and my picks in the first pack go as follows: tezz, go for the throat, go for the throat.... It seemed to be a fairly solid u/b card advantage based engine w/ some fliers to bring it home. Dude I played against played nothing but artifact creatures and removal. He killed every dude I played while I sat there w/ go for the throat in my hand w/o a legal target. Happened 2 games in a row! Whatever, I got a tezz.... time to stop.... wrong! lol. I hop into another 4-3-2-2 and pack 3 I rip a koth. I draft some super agressive r/w deck, but lost game 2 and 3 to some terrible u/g deck when I got color screwed game 2 and double mulled game 3. Either way, I ended up quite a bit ahead... time to go draft? lol...

Only noticed it cause I bought a pile of 200 rares for 35 bucks and there were 3 splinter twins in it. Never would have expected it to be this much, but ebay seems to confirm it.

2 card wins always seem to do okay as well. You can put it into a blue shell and if your opponent ever looks vulnerable you EOT flash the dude in and your turn you win... its not bad. Will it be "the deck"? who knows...

A quick piece of advice, but generally if I have 2 people asking for the same card (that's obscure) I always look up the value of them on MOTL weekly and ebay. I believe most of the people on this site are honest, but that still leaves a lot of people who are interested in turning their packs into power.

This was at FNM He wanted my 1x Aether Vial $12 1x Bloodbraid Elf (FNM promo) $3 5x splinter twin $1 for his 1x Sword of Feast and Famine $25 these were his prices... he couldnt find anything else he wanted. i wasnt too sure about his prices and plus when someone pulls out more then 4 of a card from my binder it makes me skeptical so i told him i'd think bout it and see him next week. because of what my collection needs i dont trade much in person (no one usually has what i'm looking for) unless its with someone i've know for awhile. i cant really keep up with price changes so i prefer to trade online so i can get a good feel of the values plus its much easier to sell my extra stuff and buy what i want. __________________ Deathlace count 15 Alpha 02 Beta 06 IE 05 CE 00 Unl 01 Rev 01 4th

Yep. I was talking to evilempire22 about this I think Thursday morning asking how to handle people obviously trying to get over on a trade. My first indication was someone wanting both of my Splinter Twins. My brain went "why does someone want two of a janky EDH card?". I also look at TCG player for decks running the card. If any, any, tourney is listed that runs that card, it means it made top 8 and people will want to try it out. Funny thing is, the Pestermite/Splinter Twin combo was mentioned back when Rise came out. I don't follow extended or standard rotation but, wont that combo be viable longer due to rotation than Exarch?

Deceiver Exarch 2U Creature - Cleric Flash When Deceiver Exarch enters the battlefield, choose one - Untap target permanent you control; or tap target permanent an opponent controls. 1/4
