So my judge foil dark confidant got nice and bent in the mail. Stupid USPS. Any advise of flattening it. It just curved not creased but it's curved a lot (and foil) In a Book right now.

26 artists @Ben: Agreed...The price is much too high for 250 signed CE-cards and he doesn't have the really difficult ones. But it's interesting to see if anyone buys it. __________________ Collecting signed cards. PM me...Total signed cards: 26'220 my stuff

Oh no they did itIt was mailed in a large bubble envelope with a piece cardboard. USPS then decided to fold it in half. And sadly the card was right on the fold.

I'm fairly sure I would take the Urabrask. It's a huge threat on its own (a 4/4 haste for 5) and just swings the game more towards your favor; your creatures are a turn faster, your opponent's a turn slower.

Act of Aggression for me.

My choice was act of aggression for mostly the same reasons. Its a single card that can swing the game in my favor but doesn't have any color requirements.

Urabrask because than you can draft an aggressive deck around it and the coming into play tapped against you is seriously the biggest tempo swing you can get in this block, even more than act of aggression

If Act of Aggression let me gain control permanently, I would agree it could be the pick. Urabrask is a beating and I definately take him there.

This happened to me in a trade with another member on here. Also a FOIL Dark Confidant too, but a regular one of course. Anyway, I did what the other guy already suggested to you. Sleeved it, put it in a thick book, and then put a bunch of books on top of it. The sad thing is, you can't never really get the crease out. It's not noticeable, but it's there if you look for it.

I've seen several people whose were ruined. Large envelope + loose card = bad things. My envelope was folded in half and crammed into the box as well. Fortunately, the card had slid to the side and was missed.

Needs more manlands, I think. 4x UB 4x Dread Sanctuary 4x Inkmoth And maybe a few of the 'does stuff' lands from zendikar.

I could see running Halimar Depth or something to help set it up. Outside of tar pit to have a UB source though, I don't see the need for the others. You're killing with zombies. I imagine you aggressively mulligan with this to make sure you have at least Treasure Hunt in hand to start. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

I feel like you'd mull into ZI, not Treasure Hunt, because you can't do anything with all those cards without ZI except discard to 7.

That definitely is not what Dark Confidant was expecting to see "on the stack". Hehe. Hehe. Also, on a different topic, do you know how that zombie deck did?

Its a fun idea but i feel its going to fall a little short.

If I actually gave even half a care about standard, I would totally try this out.Heck, I might just build it as a joke. The deck can't cost more than $5 to put together, even if you run a few fancy lands. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

That zombie deck loses to one duress / mana leak in a pretty hardcore fashion.

So I just tried to update MWS with M2012 the usual way: googling the MTGSalvation patch and patching it in. But when the patch was installing, it got to 223 or 243 (I'm not sure which) out of 249 cards, froze for a bit, and then crashed completely. Since then, I get this error: quote:
Critical error - file C:\Program Files\Magic Workstation\data\ Sets.dat not initialized. Reinstall MWS.
Sure enough, when I check out the file, it's got 0KB, so it's effectively empty. What the hell happened? __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. MWS is a buggy POS and needs to be re-coded, from the ground up.

Anyone know of any cards that blow up the world like obliterate, decree of Annihilation and Jokulhaups? Preferably not the disk since they can see that coming.
